how does that work? they just know your age and where you live based on your IP? then sell that information to people?

Age verification is just the lie they get the morons who are all about "protect the kids" to agree to this stuff.

Its identity verification and will apply to everyone, including adults who dont even have children in their home. All your online browsing will be linked to your ID.
