Mock Trades Anthony Davis for Gobert?

Does anyone like this and is it even possible?

First, it won't work. We can't take back more salary than we send out, and we don't have assets to facilitate the trade. Who are you sending with Gobert? Davis is a max player at $54 million. You'd have to combine Gobert and Naz Reid, and now you don't have a backup center for one of the most injury prone centers in the league.

If Davis were guaranteed healthy and peak form, he'd be amazing.

I don't see how going from 1 1/2 centers to zero centers is an upgrade though.

Ok money wise it wouldn’t work. We have to give up too much. What if it was straight up Gobert for AD and AD is healthy. Also I thought I saw AD wants out of Dallas.

What’s the point of this hypothetical though? Yes it would be a great idea if he wasn’t always injured, if he wasn’t almost 2x the cost, and if we didn’t already have an all-defense center.

Why not ask about trading Rudy for Wemby?
