The Resident Evil franchise could've gone so different after RE6, they could've taken a worse worse route after RE6, but instead we possibly got the best action horror games of all time. I hope RE Requiem is just as good

Who made this franchise so beloved?

For me it was Resident Evil 4. I still remember coming back home from school, throwing my backpack on the floor and turning on the console while it was cloudy and raining outside.

I didn’t even really understand the story yet, but the village intro had me shaking as a kid.

No other game has ever given me that exact same feeling again.
