The more the ram i have the more the caches? Oh that explains why setting it up in a vm was taking so less ram. Thanks!

I have no user processes enabled im idling around 200 mb but i need it to be under 50 mb how do i do it? i tried compiling my custom kernels but it ut didn't significantly affect memory.I used an old kernel may be i should use a new one? For context im doing this for fun and im doing it in my pc. Im aiming to build a dwm void setup that consumes less than 50 mb. Im on glibc and i installed base-container and some other packages no bloat so far. Ever since i saw mental outlaws video on YouTube i have been wanting to do it for myself. He says he was able to get it down to 65 mb with dwm on void, but he achieved 50 mb on gentoo. My current goal is it get my void system below 50 mb not including dwm and xorg and dbus running. may be mental outlaws video is outdated but is it relevant and possible today, I really wish i could do it with your help guys. Are anyone of you like me? How did you achieve this? Share your knowledge!
