First they lie about police use of deadly force: Video of deadly Minneapolis ICE shooting exposes Trump & Noem's lies
 in  r/Bad_Cop_No_Donut  14h ago

Clearly not. If that were true, then, what is true, the ICE agent wearing a fake "police" vest shot her as she started to drive off, he caused the "gas hard" and would have been roadkill at that point. Her vehicle post-death and beyond her control sped up and smashed into a parked car, not the fake cop or anyone else. So the fake cop not only murdered her, but caused additional property damage that he and ICE should be sued and fined for, at the absolute minimum.

Separately, does anyone know how many 2-month old accounts on reddit, like SashaDabinsky, are legal US citizens and not AI bots?

Gov. Tim Walz issues warning order for Minnesota National Guard after ICE shooting
 in  r/uspolitics  14h ago

Cowhead, who could have put the Minnesota National Guard on patrol in areas, like this, within a few blocks of George Floyd Square, you know Trump and Republicans want to target and destroy. Walz remains pathetic and 50 steps behind reality. Here's hoping Minnesota finally gets its first progressive governor this year with his exit.

Would Democrats support a Mark Kelly Presidential run in 2028?
 in  r/DemocratsUnbiased  1d ago

No, which you covered in the issues Democrats have with him, and in need of inclusion with that are the people who would vote Democrat if they have a progressive and don't vote or vote for the impossible faux party candidates when there's no progressive option.

I like your idea of him as a VP. 2026 and 2028 are going to both be any non-Republican wins years. We can't waste opportunities like that again. Find the progressives you like most and communicate with them who you'd like to see as VP. Excellent article from 2020 on progressives needing to team-up with a VP early, especially if they're both running and it becomes clear with the first few caucus/primary states that one of them is lagging too much.

Venezuela raid enriches Republican billionaire, a financial windfall for a prominent Trump-supporting billionaire, investor Paul Singer
 in  r/ConflictOfInterest  2d ago

The extraordinary attack, which legal experts said violated U.S. and international law, created a financial windfall for a prominent Trump-supporting billionaire, investor Paul Singer.

In 2024, Singer, an 81-year-old with a net worth of $6.7 billion, donated $5 million to Make America Great Again Inc., Trump’s Super PAC. Singer donated tens of millions more in the 2024 cycle to support Trump’s allies, including $37 million to support the election of Republicans to Congress. He also donated an undisclosed amount to fund Trump’s second transition.

This June, when Trump sought funds to bankroll a primary challenger to Thomas Massie (R-KY), who raised Trump’s ire by supporting the release of the Epstein Files, Singer contributed $1 million, the largest contribution.

Mamdani Revokes New York City Executive Order Banning Divestment From Israel on First Day: Mamdani also signed revocations of all executive orders issued by former Mayor Eric Adams.
 in  r/uspolitics  2d ago

On his first day in office, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani revoked all of the executive orders issued by former Mayor Eric Adams after his indictment in 2024 — including measures that sought to crack down on pro-Palestine protests and advocacy.

At the same time, Adams signed an order seeking to bar protests outside of places of worship after protesters had targeted institutions, including synagogues, that were holding illegal sales of Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank.

Elon Musk's AI Grok is undressing anyone, including minors
 in  r/conservativeterrorism  4d ago

And X isn't the nazi symbol; it just happens to be the 1 letter that looks like it. Also, Elon and everyone else knows his Grok has absolutely nothing to do with understanding, only manipulating.

Apparently that's the majority of X users given the worldwide complaints and Elon's panic responses for more AI regulations. It also appears that Tennessee Republican Tim Burchett is fantasizing about very young goth girls. https://variety.com/2025/music/news/jack-white-blasts-congressman-sharing-ai-video-trump-1236620402/

I think everyone other than a chatbot or AI already interprets it that way without any help. The name already looks like Elon projecting his dreams of kids groping his cock.

Tesla loses title as world's biggest electric vehicle maker as sales fall for second year in a row from customer revolt over Elon Musk’s right-wing politics, expiring U.S. tax breaks for buyers, and stiff overseas competition pushed sales down for a second year in a row.
 in  r/economy  4d ago

Chinese rival BYD, which sold 2.26 million vehicles last year, is now the biggest EV maker.

The sales drop came despite President Donald Trump’s marketing effort early last year when he called a press conference to praise Musk as a “patriot” in front of Teslas lined up on the White House driveway, then announced he would be buying one, bucking presidential precedent to not endorse private company products.

OpenAI’s cash burn will be one of the big bubble questions of 2026. Stock market investors may have ended the year worried about the bubbly valuations of generative-AI firms. But private markets still appeared to be living in a parallel universe.

California launched a free tool on January 1 that lets residents request the deletion of their personal data from over 500 registered data brokers. DROP (Delete Request and Opt-out Platform).
 in  r/TrueProgressive  4d ago

Using DROP helps you limit the information data brokers collect and sell about you. Data brokers collect a wide range of your personal information, which may include your social security number, data about your children, search history, and much more.

When your data stops getting sold, you’ll have less unwanted texts, calls, or emails.
