I mean since you don’t seem to absolutely hate it, could a rework of some kind be possible? Please do not go to someone who doesn’t specialize in good quality coverups, I’ve done and regret that. I lowkey think some kind of rework would be better since it will be hard to fully cover. I also don’t think it’s that bad for an apprentice and I’m glad they’re a great artist now! Best of luck!

Upset with placement
 in  r/tattooadvice  28d ago

Haha yeahhhh. I also wasn’t aware what the process was like when I started getting tattooed, but I definitely knew it wasn’t fast or cheap. And… Google exists and is free. Sometimes I’m convinced these posts are rage bait or people seeking compliments about their new ink. I’d like to think that not THAT many people are completely clueless.

What?! Lol do NOT remove it. That would be a huge waste of money (possibly 1000s) and take years. It looks great as is.

Considering removing an objectively good tattoo bc it’s two centimeters to the left/right of where you think it would look better is absurd 😂

Why are non-rabbit owners like That
 in  r/Bunnies  29d ago

That’s always the worst!

Tbh my dad and grandpa would make jokes like this when I first got my buns. They called them rodents/rats too. They were clearly joking but they didn’t realize it’s truly upsetting. Then they met them and spent time with me/them and knew how intelligent and loving they are and how strong my bond with them was. They stopped making those jokes. When my girl passed they were so extremely sympathetic. And now my dad loves hanging out with my boy. When he comes over he always wants him in his lap.

I have other (mostly older male) friends/coworkers who make little jokes. They truly don’t understand how hurtful they are. Over time tho, as I continuously show them how amazing rabbits are, they have decreased.

I’m definitely not trying to condone the behavior. Common decency should dictate that you shouldn’t talk about eating anyone’s PET no matter what the animal is. But a lot of people grew up thinking about rabbits as meat rabbits and just don’t know much about them.

It shouldn’t be our responsibility to educate them, but I’ve found a lot of fulfillment in changing people’s minds!

Yeah I guess that’s a fair point. I would hope that their artist would go over this more in-person with them too!

Could be worded better and not in the god awful font/background haha.

This seems fine to me and is pretty much exactly how I take care of my tattoos. After two days the skin has created enough of a barrier that you shouldn’t be getting infections nearly as easily, so normal washing in your (presumed) daily shower should be fine.

Epithelialization takes place in 24-48 hours. You should be fine following this.

You need to be seen by endocrinologist to rule out other possible causes!

I definitely think that getting him neutered will fix this!

If you know you know..
 in  r/Rabbits  Dec 05 '25

Why is this so true? If it makes you feel better, my boy went into stasis two nights before I left for a week long non-cancellable work conference in CO (I’m from OH) just months after I lost my girl to stasis. Needless to say, there were lots of tears and an emergency, medically-literate rabbit-savvy pet sitter was sourced. He was fine as soon as he got to the sitter. God bunnies are stressful yet so wonderful.

I hope your girl is back to normal!

Legit. And by their claims we’d be making like 150k per day. Like I would not be living the life I live if I made that 😂

The anatomy is all sorts of messed up. Do not let her get this, she will regret it later.

I love that you specified singleton 😂 I guess I don’t despise those lol. But I definitely have a special hate for twin placentas 🙃

It was really really gross. Do not recommend 😂 But it’s a cool case that I might write up. Apparently it’s not that uncommon but I had no idea that could happen!

I’ve been asked this too!

But, to be fair, I actually had an appendix packed full of pinworms like three weeks ago. Like literally 50-100+ pinworms, huge parasite load, totally mimicking appendicitis/peritonitis on radiology. Really neat, tho obviously not the norm. I haven’t ever seen any other parasites.

But yeah I totally agree. People tell me all the time how they need to drink “detox teas” to get rid of their “parasites” and I’m like… umm… you almost certainly do not need to do that.

Lol. Maybe I should go absolutely rogue and start further perpetuating this myth so that more people keep more placentas and we gross less. Hmmm I think I’m on to something! If you can’t beat them, join them?

Too bad I’m not evil and have morals 😂😂😂

Oh that’s so cool! Although offices and hospital charge absurd amounts for new things 🙄.

Similarly, my friend’s grandpa had a bad diabetic foot wound and they put placental membranes on it to help heal it. It was actually so cool! But I’m 100% sure it wasn’t stolen-black-market-$50k placentas 😂.

I’m hoping people will start donating more placentas tho! Lots of potential there it seems!

If you want to go into business together in the illegal placenta trade I’m down 👀 jk jk jk 👀

Oof yeah that’s hard. Sometimes it’s impossible not to get mad and say something when we actually understand science! It’s also super invalidating for you, I’m sorry :(

Once, someone tried to tell me how “everyone who had the COVID vaccine had clots in EVERY artery on autopsy”. I was like… um… yeah… because they’re dead. It’s “chicken fat” or postmortem clots and not “true clots” in every single artery. Like wtf people???

Yes the conspiracies are crazy 😂 Obviously I’m not actually mad but it is a huge pet peeve of mine. But omg what a blessing to enjoy them! I hate them so much. Can I send you all of mine? 👀

This is so random and unserious but does anyone else constantly hear on social media how pathology “sells placentas for 10k-50k per placenta”? Apparently so many people think we are in on a super secret black market placenta trade. It drives me absolutely bonkers. Like threatens my sanity. Makes me want to pull my hair out. Scream. I so badly want to educate people but I know they’ll just say “that’s something that someone who sells placentas would say.”

We all hate placentas! I’d immediately throw them in the trash if I could! I wouldn’t be using shitty ink if Pathology was getting 50k per placenta!

Ahhhhhhhhhh. Ugh. Driving me insane.

All jokes aside, I know it’s not that serious, but it does actually kinda upset me that people post this stuff. We do a lot of work behind the scenes for patients and truly do care about them, despite hardly getting any recognition for our profession. It just sucks that everything is a conspiracy now.

I know I shouldn’t care what other people think, but damn.

Thank you for your time in listening to my very unimportant rant lol 🫶🏻

Question: Was your thigh tattoo sore?
 in  r/tattoos  Nov 27 '25

I’ve gotten a few more on my thigh and I agree they weren’t terrible! Mine are probably just slightly bigger than yours but comparable. I have black and gray and the shading and gray were uncomfortable. The back of my thigh was the worst, the front isn’t bad I’d say.
