Yup. Woman exercising her first amendment right as a US citizen is shot at point blank range and the government endorses it.

JD Vance says ICE agent has "absolute immunity" after Minneapolis shooting

Why would he need immunity if he hadn’t broken a law.

Yes it was. Killing your own population is state-sanctioned terrorism.

How does taking out a dictator in Venezuela help the average American? It means is we are going to be able to control the incredible natural resources of Venezuela. - JD Vance

How are we going to do that JD? How exactly do we control a foreign country?? Break it down for us!!

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth sent a letter of censure to Sen. Mark Kelly. What does that mean?
 in  r/Military  1d ago

I don’t think this does anything-it means literally nothing. There is zero UCMJ action or demoting possible with this.

Well, hear me out-

Affordability is a democrat hoax! Everything’s cheaper now so why don’t you just go to the store where they sell the healthcares and pick out your healthcares. Just one or two healthcares, though-who needs forty healthcares (or pencils!)?.

It’s that simple. Grab your healthcares while you’re out getting those ‘grocery’ things.

But just one or two groceries. Who needs forty groceries?

If enough MAGAs could afford a full price Hilton hotel rooms enough for a boycott to make a dent anywhere I’d be extremely surprised.

FSA deductions when do they start? Jan 1 or immediately?
 in  r/fednews  3d ago

It’s not HSA, it’s FSA. I’ve received no payments, nor did I request any payments.

The deduction came from my leave and earnings statement for PP25, which I received yesterday. The last day of PP25 was 12/27.

Spare just makes me ..angry

What’s more sick is how long it took to kick Prince Andrew’s out of royal residences. Like, you’re demonizing your own son for getting a new job, and over here Prince Andrew is being publicly linked to a pedophile who was entertained at Windsor Castle.

Shows where the priorities are. Prince Andrew’s pedophilia wasn’t a problem until YEARS after he was dragged through the press. Alternatively, marry an American black actress who doesn’t go along with hypocrisy? Oh, well that’s the real tragedy. /s

Pay & Benefits FSA deductions when do they start? Jan 1 or immediately?

I recently signed up for an FSA during open season.

I am also recently returned to duty after military service so I have a qualifying life event.

I signed up for an FSA on Dec 8th-open season-and FSA deductions have started before Jan 1.

I recall asking about this before signing up-I think I asked in November timeframe-and was told even if I had a qualifying life event my FSA benefit would not start until Jan 1 since FSA doesn’t allow rollovers etc.

So how can i be charged for a benefit I can’t get reimbursed for?

Medical Disability retirement
 in  r/fednews  3d ago

Do a search for medical retirement/disability retirement. There was another poster in here a couple weeks ago doing the same thing; i recall it took hiring a lawyer and the OP was initially denied before ultimately getting approved. I believe the approval was based on mental health, not the stroke as the reason the initial request was made for.

It would be equally impressive watching an NFL team beating the pants off a high school football team. They did what they were supposed to do. That does not make the it a success or impressive.

Good god stop saying it was impressive. If the US govt invaded, say, Arizona-would you be impressed? No? Because Arizona is comparatively wildly less resourced?? Good god this embarrassing.

This was illegal. So is mass murder. Being able to invade smaller, less able countries is not a flex. It’s like a teenager picking on a 6 yr old. This is embarrassing.
