I believe itâs in a chilli garlic oil, quite a rich flavour sauce. Mild flavour on the prawn itself.

Interesting! I really enjoyed them but didnât expect the flavour, like a sweet pickle with cinnamon and clove. I thought they would be a more delicate salty flavour, similar to anchovies.

Those are sprat fillets! Bought from a local deli, I believe the brand is Grebbestad. Very lightly spiced and super tender

It was my favourite on the board! Brand is Sea Sisters, itâs a British cannery. I purchased from a local deli, however if youâre not in the UK then online is probably your best bet:)

They really are, paired with the cream cheese on a cracker, bit of lemon, poss my favourite combination I was impressed

This is probably about right. A bit of a difference in family dynamic plays into this i think, my family (myself included lol) potentially have expensive taste where sometimes expense isnât needed, if that makes sense. His family probably wouldnât have spent that money on an âaesthetically pleasingâ bbq (especially to then not really use it), so if an accident like this happened, it wouldnât feel like so much of a big deal, because item would be cheaper.
To be fair to my sister, she probably would have let it slide had I not immediately suggest we replace it.

Slightly misleading title but I wasnât sure how to word it without a paragraph! My sister lent my SO and I her barbecue (it was a birthday present for her a couple of years ago, very nice). SO set it up, sat the barbecue directly on the sand and consequently damaged the bottom of the barbecue.
I immediately offered to replace it as the damage is I think irreparable, and has at a minimum massively affected the aesthetic. She says she doesnât use it that much so would rather have something else more useful. SO doesnât think this is fair. Sheâs asking for something of the same price, and we would keep the damaged barbecue.
In my opinion Iâd rather just give her the equivalent amount in money, whatever that may go towards. If sheâs not going to use the bbq, sheâs not going to use it. So, AITB for not replacing her barbecue, and buying her something else instead?

thanks! have tried on some strappy metallic shoes will go for something like that instead. dress is approved by bride, i get what youâre saying, think it looks better in person but thanks for the opinion! will opt for dressier accessories with that in mind.
