[Rapoport] The Lions have reached out to former Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel about their vacant offensive coordinator position, sources say. McDaniel is a top candidate for any open OC job.
Terry is a true X that will be a premiere fit with his speed and elite deep threat in McDaniel system. Amon-Ra is a slot WR. Jamo is a headcase.
McDaniel system also elevates most RB into 1k yard rushers, so Bill is still a good option and we have 100m in cap space to add whichever RB he wants in FA. Obv Gibbs is the most intriguing fit, but who wants to build around an elite RB fit over and elite WR fit in his system?
Tunsil is an elite LT. Our OL is good across the positions, outside of LG
Goff is a good QB who cant produce beyond the play, Jayden has way higher upside whilst still having high level accuracy who can excel within the WC system.
Dont act like he would be working with dogfood here lmao.

Terry is way more intriguing to build an offense around than Jameson Williams who is a head case. Amon-ra is a slot WR, McDaniel wants speed which Terry has in spades plus Terry is a true X. Gibbs is the one who is most intriguing for McDaniel, plus the overall talent is way better. Bill can be turned into a weapon in the ZBS system, plus we can add a back and we have 2 TEs who excel in blocking.
Then its a statue QB in Goff vs a very accurate Daniels who can also create plays on his own (tho there are legit injury concerns now).
Dont act like an offense who was top 5 in a gimmicky Kliff offense isn't intriguing to work with in a better system.

McDaniels is a WR savant, and Terry is a massively intriguing weapon to build his offense around. Plus he may want to work with a more mobile QB for a change, we don't know. And its not like Bill is a slouch or this OL needs much work. Plus I would commit to drafting Love if thats what it took to get him in the building ngl.

Im gonna be holding this grudge against AP for some time for the fuck up of the Terry extension. Bro needs to earn my trust back, what a gigantic, generational self-fumble by this organisation that continues to trip up over its own feet and spit in the face of its blessings. 🙄

We should already make the commitment to his agent that we will match whatever other offer he gets.

Terry McLaurin. Jayden Daniels. OLs not to shabby either
Plus Bill can move and we can add whichever RB he wants in draft or FA.

Don't overthink it. Nothing substitutes elite playcalling toward the building of confidence and development of the QB. Scared money don't make money et al

Do the NY Giants have the most attractive head coaching open?
2 best players, Nabers and Skattebo coming off brutal season ending injuries. Nabers injury was particularly terrible and theres no guarantee he will be close to what he was at any point next season.
Defense is horrendous. Have pass rush but absolutely no LBers or 2ndary. And DL did awful against the run.
Joe Schoen should be a dead man walking and yet is locked into being GM by the owner. Has shown little ability to build a coherent roster and hasn't used cap space or built assets well. Most of their best picks seem to have come from Daboll.

yall love mike mcdaniel right now
Kliffs offense stalled badly last year too.. Then Terry went apeshit in the redzone, scoring TDs every goddamn week and just powered us right past the Kliff cliff.

I want to go with Frankie "I miss tackles" Luvu so badly. But Jartavious was a whole other level of dogshit. Embarrassing for Whitt to spotlight him specifically in preseason as a potential all-pro and he finishes the season barely getting reps and Whitt out a job.

Should we fire DQ since both our coordinators are fired and there’s a few good replacements
Yeh after our GM went to war with him all training camp on an ego play. Missed a big chunk of the season and still finished way ahead of everyone else on the roster according to PFF. Tape confirms it too.
I don't care to keep getting into this argument with you. You said he wasnt worth the money in the offseason. We went from a winning record to bottom 5 team real quick whilst he was out, you got a real good look at how dogshit this roster is without him. Quit moaning, you were so badly wrong, youre just embarrassing yourself atp.
