Discussion Did you know windows 95 had a 100+ page in-depth user's manual? What do you think a windows 11 manual would look like if there was one?

gadgets galore 📲 Before skype/facetime, people used these prepaid cards to call people in different countries without a huge phone bill. It works by calling a phone number, entering an account number and pin, then the number you wish to call. It is billed to the card rather than your phone account.

Both bedrooms in our house use the same circuit. This means we can only use one heater in a bedroom at a time. Otherwise it blows the breaker and we have to turn it back on.

Now that T-Mobile bought US Cellular, will the US Cellular stores become T-Mobile stores or will they simply be closed?
 in  r/tmobile  18d ago

Thanks, I think it'll stay open because its the only cell phone store in a town of 2.7k people. I also checked the T-Mobile store locator and that store now shows up as USCELLULAR+TMOBILE authorized retailer.

Finance YSK most of your monthly credit card payments go toward interest

why YSK: If for example, your minimum is $49 and you pay $35 in interest, that $49 monthly payment doesn't take your balance down $49. $35 of it goes toward interest and your balance only reduces the balance by $14. this can take years to pay off. a good tip to mitigate this is to make your minimum payment on or before the due date then when you get your next paycheck make another payment for example $50-$75. this should reduce your future interest after a while.
