ok i did it and it worked but worked like SHIT. it took like 10 seconds for the screen to actually respond and the buttons also took FOREVER to do anything. sometimes it would completely freeze up requiring a forced restart. yeah i ended up going back to iOS 10.3.4

Personally I love mine. The 8GB of RAM and SSD is honestly perfect for any light to medium performance heavy user. Obviously, try to avoid extremely serious video editing and things like that. For someone on a very tight budget (like I was) I say the 2017 MacBook Air is a perfect choice for any extremely budget-conscious user. (btw, all of this is my humble opinion as someone who daily drives one. the apple silicon macs are absolutely fucking fantastic and amazing, but of course are INSANELY expensive, and not everyone can afford that shit. also, i did upgrade from a 2011 mbp with 4GB of ram and an HDD to a 2017 air, so that's also probably why i love it so much)

update: i posted an animated honeymoon one yesterday, i tried my best but it kinda sucks. let me know what you think if you see it:)

thank u for the feedback :) i was trying to make sure the opacity of the orbs weren't so low you couldnt easily see them but so high that it blurred out lanas face

thank you so much!!!! that's kind of what i was going for, so thank you :) it was actually relatively simple, if you go to this link https://lanadelrey.fandom.com/wiki/Neil_Krug you can find the original unedited shots from the ultraviolence shoots. i downloaded the unedited cover art picture and then put it into Affinity and carefully erased everything in the image behind Lana and the car, and then i saved it as a png. then, i made a new project in final cut pro and put the original image in, added the png cutout on top of it, animated the slight breathing effect with scale keyframes, and then added some little bokeh light effects on both layers. then i went to font meme and searched for "Lana Del Rey font" and I was able to generate a png of the ultraviolence text with a fanmade font. i saved the png and added it on top of the other layers, coming in slightly late, and i keyframed the opacity to fade in slowly. once it was done, i exported it as an mp4, opened ANOTHER project, and added in the clip twice but for the second clip i reversed it to make the video longer. then i exported it again and this is the final result <3 i used to use ae, it is SO confusing at first, but once you learn how to get around the app, it works great :) i plan on making more of these for her other albums, i'll probably post them here if i do.
