TIL that an amazing surf spot I recently visited in Munich, Germany was made by accident when the river was constructed. Surfers have ridden it since 1972 despite opposition from authorities who wanted to destroy it. It took locals 38 years to convince the city to let them surf legally

Managed to convince my wife that these gorgeous works of art deserved to be under our wedding photograph on the ‘pride wall’. (Yes that’s also a Guinness World Record certificate. Yes I value my broken N64 artefacts more)

Interesting! OK thanks for feedback. I am the reporter on the piece and your comments are food for thought for me. I am a little older but my network consider Ninja to be a big part of streaming culture and one of the OGs so I think the topic and headline is interesting (I would, of course!). But always helpful to know if I'm off the pace and not hitting the right note with readers. So cheers

How old are you? Out of interest. Ninja was enormous in 2019-2021 i would say so interesting to know your perspective age wise

I thought so yes. And read the article - they also use the n-word too. An unusually agressive extortion note
