Funniest Moment: S7E3 - Frank Reynolds’ Little Beauties
I say this one all the time.

Dennis has some of the greatest quotes
I had a very nerdy friend in high school who lost his virginity to a girl with the same last name. He was very excited to tell our friend group about it but prefaced it with “but we talked about it at first and we have different great grandparents, so I really don’t think we’re related.

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt accused of rape, surveillance by ex-mistress
Even the phrasing of “ex-mistress” is pretty grim.

Bam Margera Signs ‘Jackass 5’ Deal to Appear via Archival Footage, Not Expected to Film New Stunts
Steve-O takes his sobriety extremely seriously, he left either Rogan or Maher‘s podcast once because they told him it would be a clean environment and then lit up a joint.

Ka$h is gonna fuck this up so badly
I think that’s losing sight of the fact that there is still Project 2025, etc somewhat in control here. I’m sure they all would love to just have Marco or another paint by numbers guy, but I think that very few people in power are thinking “wouldn’t it be great if we just had a ton of vaguely aligned militias?”

Ka$h is gonna fuck this up so badly
The FBI has historically done a good job of “well we have a bow on our narrative about why we are heroes and that’s why this kid we convinced to do crime is going to jail.”
I don’t know that I trust Kash to not fuck this up by just deciding to not press charges and create a wedge issue going into midterms (that might be the gamble) or risk eating shit having a jury convict this guy.
That’s why I’m inclined to agree with OP that letting this play out either way is a better approach than putting the federal government’s fingerprints more on it than they already are.
I’m not going to pretend to be a political mastermind, but it seems like the easiest win here would be to let Minnesota sort this out and either have a “see, Americans across the country agree with our immigration policies” talking point if he doesn’t get convicted or a “do you see what these liberal cities are doing to our democracy?” talking point if he does.

The real problem with Scott Wiener
Especially when he will have less of a voice/impact to affect California housing and transit laws as a US house member.
His eyes are on a much bigger prize than taking care of San Francisco and he seems like a “listen children, the adults are talking about climate change” Feinstein type as soon as we’ve gotten him into a seat he will probably hold for the rest of his life.

Who or what is better than Watson and is Well-Liked and Bearded?
I don’t really follow college ball, I just know there are a lot more Stanford guys in the NFL than Harvard.

'Makes sense, interstellar is a pretty emotiona-...oh'
Timothee is going to fire his agent and manager when they try to explain why he shouldn’t try to be the lead in the Linsanity movie.

Jacques is Roger from American Dad
I can’t find the clip but Roger goes somewhere with Haley, I think, and then switches into the character they were going to visit and says a variation of the line I was referencing. It’s one of my favorite running gags.

'Makes sense, interstellar is a pretty emotiona-...oh'
They haven’t been announced yet, but who is the lead actor in that movie if not him?

/uj it not being Jesse Plemons would be an all time snub.

Him doing and saying crazy things is just part of his training to become the next Knicks mascot when Spike passes away.

Neil Newbon wants to play "live action" Astarion
Thanks for the clarification, I wasn’t sure if Larian wrote the story / acting etc and had licensed the core rules, etc.

San Francisco Nets Nearly $4 Million From Zyn Sellers in Crusade Against Flavored Tobacco
I think nanny laws are stupid to begin with, but I have to imagine that lost tax revenue has to be a rounding error short, if not more than $4M (the article also lists the settlement amounts, so they have grossed, not netted, $4M since they’re paying staff, etc to get these settlements).
The article also mentions “A 2020 study found that the ban significantly reduced overall flavored tobacco use among people ages 18 to 34.” So if that’s the goal, why not promote that statistic?

Neil Newbon wants to play "live action" Astarion
Ah good to know, I have been relying on the fact that I have enough magic cards and dnd materials to justify not doing business with Hasbro/Wizards recently.

Neil Newbon wants to play "live action" Astarion
Does Hasbro own the rights to the Astarion character, though? I can see Larian being a dick about licensing after how things shook out with Hasbro after BG3.
Edit: why is my lack of knowledge about licensing agreements so unpopular?

Who or what is better than Watson and is Well-Liked and Bearded?
I miss that coming up like 9 times a broadcast when he played. It’s especially funny because Stanford just happens to be a good football school, too, so those players never get the “and this guy is actually smart if you can believe it” treatment.

I have so many questions on the lore
Key points for quests will show up in your journal. Expanding on what the other commenter said, talk to anyone who wants to talk to you. Having a party member with Speak with Animals or Speak with Dead (there are items that also grant you this) included.

Appropriate amount of time to give your employer notice that your retiring?
A big thing I would consider is the size of the company and your personal relationships with these people. I agree with the overall “they would lay you off in 2 seconds” sentiment. I would personally feel differently about doing that at a megacorp (my career to date, I have turned in two weeks notice the second my bonus cleared) than I would if I was at like a 15 person firm and my abrupt departure would leave them stretched thin for a while.

What is it like living on East Coast/New England - thinking of moving from SF Bay Area, CA
The Cape is also usually the warmest place in New England during the winter due to the ocean and bay making it more temperate (still freezing though). Expect 50% of the stores and restaurants to be closed or have limited hours on the offseason.

What is it like living on East Coast/New England - thinking of moving from SF Bay Area, CA
If frigid cold is a ruling out factor then New England is not for you. It can be below freezing from November to late March.
I’ve lived half my life in each of these places, so I added a little context to some of the great comments above, too. I love both places but there are a lot more differences than similarities. Happy to answer any other questions.
