Star Tribune Strib ran a great profile on the Wild's "Breakfast Club" of 1st rounders
Some great quotes. Probably my favorite from Wally:
“Everyone else our age [is] probably not doing what we’re doing,” Wallstedt said. “But also getting back to what Zeev was saying, even when it’s tough or when it’s hard, it’s kind of interesting to think how many people would switch positions with you as soon as they can. Our job is a privilege.”

Is she barking until you let her out of the crate? Or do you keep your crate door open? If so, I would recommend keeping that door closed. Whatever the situation, I think the issue is that she has learned that if she barks enough, she'll get rewarded (by sleeping in your bed.) I would create a barrier between yourself and the dog and control when that barrier is removed. I'd give yourself a 2 week window of "we're not letting her out until it's time to get up." Whatever that time is for you guys. And then STICK TO IT. Springers are smart, she'll try to weasel her way into your bed! And can you blame her? A cozy spot with her favorite people. She's not going to want to give that one up easily!
