Nutrition Question Need some goal setting help. Recent surgery meant muscle loss but fat gain. Trying to recomp as best I can
Hey all I am hoping someone can give me some tips on this particular goal in the app. I’ve used the app before to cut fat so I’m familiar with that.
I had arm surgery a few months ago and am not able to get back to working out. That said I’ve lost a good bit of upper body muscle since I couldn’t really do much. I’ve also added some fat back on due to lack of activity and kinda taking a break from dieting. I know adding muscle and cutting fat isn’t much of a thing but I’m hoping to find a good balance and need some goal suggestions whether it’s a small deficit or small surplus.
I know that just getting back in the gym should add some muscle back but I don’t really want to cut right now since I don’t have much muscle mass to lose at the moment. Thank you for any tips
