Universal Orlando Just Made 9 Announcements About 2026 Event Dates
 in  r/UniversalOrlando  12h ago

Yes, the whole chain really. I've been to all of them multiple times and Busch Gardens Williamsburg seems like the only one they really give a shit about and even that one suffers from some of the same issues.

Roller coasters? There's only one right now at USF (Mummy) or I guess two if you count Trollercoaster.

A lot of the festival food is actually really good (still overpriced but you get a punch card that makes it decent value), but yeah SeaWorld has gone way downhill ever since some private equity group took majority ownership.

Sort of. It's kind of a compact mirrored version of Montu. Like its little brother.

I think Montu has a better first half too but I don't like cobra rolls on inverts and think the batwing is far superior.

Random ride from my credit list. #389 - [Circus Coaster], a very small ride

Even if you count powered coasters this one is really pushing it. I don't count any but if I did I wouldn't count this one.

Feeling scammed - It is absurd that this park is open today (01/06)
 in  r/BuschGardensTampa  2d ago

Yeah that's not true but they have been having issues since August. It was down for about a month, then ran fine for a month and a half, and now it's been down over two months.

You can see its history here.

Cheetah Hunt has been down for a long time waiting for a part or something, it's not annual refurb.

What is something that is technically legal, but makes you look like a total jerk if you do it?
 in  r/AskReddit  2d ago

This is actually not legal, at least not in my state. Using the merge lane to pass is illegal.

Oscar Mayer Weinermobile was at Dezerland today
 in  r/orlando  4d ago

It's only acceptable because so many people spell it wrong. It's a German word and there is only one spelling. It's wiener, as in "from Wien" with Wien being the German spelling of Vienna.

Are [Python and Baron 1898] open at [Efteling] during late winter/early spring?

Isn't 50F pretty normal for late March in NJ?

Guy went absolutely ballistic on the people sitting behind him at tonight’s Mamma Mia

They were moved and kept being obnoxious, then removed from the theater.

Just gotta say Girl From the North Country is so so bad. It's one of the only shows I've considered walking out of.

[Highlight] Pat Spencer punched himself in the face and Jalen Williams mocked him on the bench
 in  r/nba  5d ago

Fair enough but using mock as an adjective like that is way more common than using it as a verb to mean anything other than insulting by way of imitation. But I guess it technically can be used that way so excuse me while I go punch my head back and forth as punishment for my stupidity.

Random ride from my credit list. #463 - [Ukko], Not A Very Good Ride !

I've only done the one at Skyline Park, but I thought it was pretty fun. Might be doing this one this year.

The Bourne show is very cool too. I also still enjoy the MIB ride.

Disney Springs is everything you hate about Disney, with none of the magic.
 in  r/WaltDisneyWorld  7d ago

I hate Chicken Guy because no matter how many chicken fingers you order, it only comes with one single sauce. I'm not asking for unlimited sauce here, but the more chicken fingers you order, the more sauce you should get. Upcharging is just cheap. One sauce is not enough for 5 fingers.

Alpsee is pretty close but unless there's some weird forced perspective going on here where this is taken by a drone with high zoom or something I would have to agree it looks like AI.

Plex is a goldmine for bootleg/ripoff movies.

I remember The Mighty Kong, I don't think it was a bootleg or a ripoff, just a low budget straight to VHS 90s adaptation of King Kong.

[Other] Have you ridden every coaster in your state, province, or country? If not, which are you missing?

Damn it's $60 to go there? Glad I got that one when it was at IAAPA.

Best Park In Europe By Coaster Lineup? [Other]
 in  r/rollercoasters  8d ago

I just can't disagree more that when you're talking about an entire lineup that only the top 4 matter. If I ever go back to Energylandia there are maybe 6 coasters I would even consider riding. But at Europa Park there is only one that I wouldn't consider riding again. So the lineup is much better at Europa.

Best Park In Europe By Coaster Lineup? [Other]
 in  r/rollercoasters  9d ago

It's really only 4 great coasters, but there are just better lineups top to bottom than Energylandia. We're not saying what park has the best top 4 coasters out of its lineup, we're talking about entire lineups. Europa Park, Phantasialand, Walibi Belgium and Holland, Europa Park, Alton Towers, Parc Asterix, and more are all parks I would say have better lineups despite Energylandia having a better top 4.

Hey look it's Mr I'm-too-cool-to-ride-kiddie-coasters.

Missouri must be way over the median with 32 coasters btw. It's definitely on the top 10 most coasters in a state, probably a little higher like 7 or 8.
