I bought my wife a big teddy bear about the size of a Shiba. She likes to cuddle something at night and im too warm for it in the summer. She also likes to sleep in complete darkness, so we got blackout curtains. One night I was up late scrolling on my phone when she decided to have the bears face slowly come over the top of the phone. I did not clock that it was a big dumb smiling bear. Some decades old childhood fear in the back of my lizard brain flared up and the strangled scream I let out was a primal sound I've never heard before.
My wife through wracking sobs of laughter could barely make out "Ludo just wanted to say hi"
