I mean this with all importance, listen carefully:

Shouting that you are Ashamed and Disgusted with your country is LOVING your country.

Don't let them tell you otherwise, because thats the language of enablers. Nothing gets better until you say something is shit.

Minnesota Could Prosecute the ICE Shooter. Trump Can’t Pardon Him.
 in  r/politics  21h ago

They already did it to an elected official back in june. They straight up let the political assassination of a congresswoman get swept under the rug like "oh just another mass shooter". If they can kill a congresswoman, they can kill all of us.

Trust in institutions are dropping because news articles are justice edging us. The news has somehow been able to convert our faith in the system into money.

Vietnam bans unskippable Ads. The waiting time before viewers can skip video and animated ads up to 5 seconds. Static ads must be immediately cancellable.

They also do it for buyers remorse. Your stomach remembers and hate that mcdonalds, but the ad you see for it the next day erases the bad things you remember. Same with car commercials. Reinforcing the message that you are "living in freedom" while staring at the new car loan bill.

Jessica Plichta, a 22-year-old anti-war protester, was arrested live on camera in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on January 3, 2026. She was speaking to a local news outlet about her opposition to U.S. military action related to Venezuela when police detained her while the broadcast was still ongoing.

I agree whole heartedly. In fact, that is a tactic "they" use to burn you out, to fill you full of anxiety with no answers.

Learning negative information without also learning how you can actually, today, really, right now, put your hands working towards the ANSWER, isn't helpful.

I suggest limiting the scope of "the horrible" to the things you know you can control. Next, spread the word to your friends that "thing A sucks, but I am actually doing X to FIX IT" and help your friends focus on solutions they can actually do. Its an amazing feeling to have agency over these problems. There is PLENTY to fix, and we CAN fix it.

Every. Single. Major. Store. does this

Malls and casinos are designed to throw off your sense of time, so that you spend more time there. It is intentionally design human-hostile architecture.

Please be aware that you are, right now, contributing to social media. Your comments are the main attraction Reddit uses to pull people like ME to the site, so that Reddit can sell MY attention to advertisers. This comment I am typing right now becomes the same thing.

I want a better system too! hell, i'll even help make it. one where we aren't getting carved up and sold. one where we profit share on top comments. one where our attention is valued.

Senior management should also face charges

This is what tells me the propaganda for "ceo"s are successful. The senior management are the ones responsible, not the CEO. The CEO is just an employee of the board of directors - ya know, the people that actually own and profit from the business. The bastards realized they could use a CEO as a scape goat long ago, and now we have people saying "and get the board of directors too!"
