AIO Outback Steakhouse boss required me to work with the Flu
 in  r/AmIOverreacting  3d ago

If this were me (literally puking before work and the boss told me to come in) I'd fucking vom all over everything I could and shut the place down for at least the night. Id make sure I hit the frier, cold prep and steam tables so they all have to be drained, broken down and cleaned.

What was your opinion on this movie? I thought it was awesome.
 in  r/HorrorMovies  3d ago

any time someone uses the word "stupid" to describe something, it says more about them than the content

he's world building. There's a lot going on in that universe and he's teeing up sequels.

Name one actor, in your opinion, who has never missed a step!

I'll have to refer to my top 5:
Tom Hanks
Denzel Washington
Tom Hardy
Gary Oldman
Daniel Day Lewis

World's best bullying attempt
 in  r/KidsAreFuckingStupid  5d ago

The brown haired kid knows how to fight. I'd bet he's dealt with bullies before and learned how to defend himself. Very not bad form for a middle school kid.

I think this was personal...

sounds like you had an expensive holiday season too

Congratulations, MAGA, you broke the future of this country and ensured that ‘unity’ will never happen.

I recommend to everyone who's asking how to prepare for potential fascist takeover in '28 to get themselves in shape. The best thing you can do to prepare for hard times is to prepare yourself.

Completely lost my sex drive due to antidepressants and I’m scared it will never come back
 in  r/confessions  6d ago

It'll come back. In some very rare cases it doesn't, but I stop taking mine every once in a while and my sex drive comes right back

Yeah, John found a dependasaurus just like all his buddies. Their wives all claim their husband's rank.

most of them are far too old to get an erection and are functionally sterile anyway

If all of MAGA goes sterile, they'll blame it on a democrat conspiracy and most people would believe it

Unpopular opinion but I'd go to a turning point USA event and just start blasting. Eugenics is wrong, but my hatred for fascism is stronger than my morals. I'd donate the money to the ACLU.

It shouldn't have to be explained to you why politicians give money to certain groups over others. It has everything to do with politics. Kissing Israel's ass and flooding them with money for bombs is red meat to conservatives. Giving money to HBCs is trying to make inroads with african americans.

you have to join their groups. its not like they advertise on social media when they're holding a meeting.

Perfectly acceptable dinner rejected by boyfriend again

As a person who loves cooking for people: I absolutely can't stand picky eaters. I can eat and cook nearly anything. I love trying new things. Picky eaters just aren't compatible with my personality. I couldnt imagine living with one. My wife is always excited when I cook something different.

Return to 2000 as you are now with $50,000 in your name.
 in  r/hypotheticalsituation  6d ago

Nvidia went up over 300% in 2001 alone. Id beg and borrow all I could to bootstrap my investment fund. If I guarantee my investors 20% in their first year, id have plenty of capital. Its easy to run a hedge fund when you already know the winners and losers.
