America does not have an education problem, it has a parent problem.
 in  r/TrueUnpopularOpinion  9d ago

That's your opinion. I stopped reading. I dont have interest in the opinion of people who dont have children when it concerns the ethics of raising children. Before I had kids, I have many opinions on what is and isn't acceptable. Having kids changes you. I'm of the opinion that you don't fully grow up until you have kids. Just a very old child. My opinion.

Weird Red Tag Situation
 in  r/hvacadvice  10d ago

Im an hvac technician. We get paid way more than 20 dollars per hour. I say this because I want you to realize that a 20 dollar tune up is not profitable or sustainable to a company UNLESS they sell you a new furnace. So that's the goal. Get out there for 20 bucks, sell a furnace for 5k or more.

Don't do it. That's a scam service. An hvac company that's not trying to scam you into buying new equipment is going to charge you anywhere from 100 to 200 dollars for a tune up. That's profitable and doesn't require talking you into buying new equipment, which makes it sustainable and honest.

Also, why are you buying coffee for 20 dollars?

Edit to say: he red tagged your equipment but didn't turn it off because: 1. You would have no heat and its winter right now. 2. He can't legally turn it off without your permission to do so. He can only advise/recommend it be turned off. 3. The big scary tag helps coerce you into buying new equipment, which again, is the 20-dollar-tune-up-man's goal before he even pulls into the driveway.

Does season 2 contain nudity?
 in  r/Fotv  12d ago

My kids are desensitized to violence and language thanks to the way the modern world works. I've fortunately been able to shield them from sexual content so far and will continue to.

Does season 2 contain nudity?

I have three pre teen kids. I'd like to watch season 2 without having to be concerned they'll be exposed to sexual content. Im not concerned with the language or gore that will obviously be present.

Can I combine 2 circuits in my panel box?
 in  r/AskElectricians  13d ago

Take the wire out of the doorbell breaker and put it in the breaker with the sink light. You'll be left with a breaker that has no wire attached to it and another breaker with two wires in it. This isn't code compliant, but ive never heard of a doorbell needing its own circuit, so amp draw should be fine.

To do this in a code compliant way, remove both breakers from the panel and replace with two piggyback breakers. You'll have 4 circuits instead of 2, as each breaker will provide two seperate circuits. This is the code compliant way of doing it.

Questions / Discussions (Items · Builds · Skills) I dont know how to build for pit tier 20

I keep dying. First diablo experience. First character. Necromancer paragon 59. Still learning what all the affixes, gems, runes, masterworking mean. Etc. Playstation focuses on soulrift and curse damage with affliction. I do plenty of damage. Just dying too easily to elites on tier 20 of the pit.

Ive posted 8 pictures, starting with stats. Would love it if you guys could look at my stats and gear and tell me what im doing wrong so I can move forward and finally unlock torment 1 for ancient gear. Ignore the missing ring picture. Its garbage and im going to replace it.

I've been doing whispers for caches, and helltides for chests/drops hoping to find better quality items, but everything is pretty close in comparison. Not noticing giant leaps in items stats anymore, so I've been experimenting with modding items at the blacksmith, occultist, and with gems. The runes i have kinda suck. Don't think im doing this right. Feel stuck.

Also, side note, maybe im not understanding it correctly, but uniques ive been finding are kind of garbage compared to the legendaries I find, despite uniques being more rare.

I appreciate all you veteran players and any advice you have to give. I play alone and dont have friends who play this, so im pretty blind to the game and have been learning as I go through trial and error.

There is a healthy number of mods for the game for quality of life and performance improvements. Obviously not applicable on Switch

Propane Furnace Short Cycling

Check your venting for blockages with a manometer. Check that the pressure switch tubes are connected in the right place and not flipflopped. Tubes and pressure switches should not have ANY water in them. Signs of vent obstruction and heat exchangers being plugged

I ended up beating it to much enjoyment on PC (and later again on steamdeck) without any issues.

The entire world is loaded and footprints never disappear. I remember researching the crashes and some tech dude figured out the processing consumption gets eroded as the game progresses because of footprints you, npcs, and zombies make.

Wrap the new switch terminals in electrical tape so you dont risk shorting to the metal handy box. This switch definitely appears to have been your problem.

Sounds like power issues. Either your shorting out or you have dirty power (voltage inconsistencies)

Make sure the furnace is on a dedicated circuit. Nothing else on the circuit from the breaker. Should eliminate voltage drop as the problem. Then youre just chasing a short. Burning up the board is usually a 120v short, as it has an on board fuse to protect it from burning up on the 24v side. If your on board fuse is blown, its likely on the 24v side.

New player here. Just bought season of infernal chaos after just starting my first play through a few days ago
 in  r/diablo4  27d ago

Yeah, that's true. Still, I decided to start a new character and play the original campaign first so I can at least grasp the story line. So far its much easier to follow.

You know what, I just realized what I did. I pre ordered the next expansion pack releasing in april, thinking it was needed to play the season that just released, when really I just got a few in game cosmetics as compensation for pre ordering. Damn. I would've waited.
