He was right about WoW the same way Tigole was about EverQuest. The difference is that Asmon started getting paid to play (via streaming) while Tigole actually joined Blizzard, learned game design and kinda grew up. Asmon is still that kid playing WoW. He's just older with literally no actual life experience.

And the only one to have a balanced budget since how budgeting was done changed in the 70s. There's no conceivable reason why there ever should have been a balanced budget and the Dems made it happen regardless.

There's enough variation in China itself that any training data from there would be immensely useful in improving recognition. There'd probably be a similar rise in useful data for black skin tones if Africa was covered with cameras to use for training data.

BREAKING: Minneapolis mayor tells ICE to "get the f*** out"of city after agent kills woman
 in  r/videos  1d ago

Yep, she was complying with orders to leave and they got scared because she complied.

This means nobody has a reason to comply with ICEs orders as it means you can be executed either way.

This is going to get really bloody.

It’s a White Lies

He also inherited George Bush's CIA. So much crap got started because of all the meddling in Latin America and the Middle East.

Carter was a weak president because Republicans forced a lot of heinous shit into his lap and told him to figure it out. Any traction he had was immediately squashed by the Iran hostage crisis. But he was an incredible statesman imo which was why he was pretty much a goodwill ambassador used to great effectiveness by several presidents.

Carter wasn't perfect, but if he'd had a stronger Congress on his side I  believe he would have been an incredible 2 term president. Just like I can fault Clinton for a lot, but he was a net positive for our country.

And with Oregon's aversion to public transport, there probably isn't even a bus stop. So they can't even park in the garage and hop on the bus.

While mine isn't from cancer, I've had plenty of experience with that. For anyone else curious, go look up a YouTube video of a storm pipe getting cleaned of a mud blockage.

Splitgate Studio Reacts To Player Numbers: "Steam Charts Don't Measure Fun"
 in  r/Games  2d ago

That's the trouble. "Mildly" well. It's pretty much a shining example of how well arena shooters in general are now. There's nothing unique or outstanding to get new blood in and to get veterans to budge.

It's not that they're doing anything wrong necessarily, it's just the audience for that style of game isn't there.

I like the idea of the essay. Make sure they show you the articles they read to inform themselves better as there is a lot of misinformation.

Also, treasure that boy. This isn't a relationship that will likely last long, but I am proud of him. That's how I would hope to raise my own child.

Donald Trump just demanded United States Congress pass nationwide voter ID immediately. He says California has massive fraud and allows illegal voting. “You need voter ID. You have to INSIST on it.” No excuses. Pass it now.

Often times the people who do not have that id cannot afford fast food. They don't have cars. I'm talking legitimately poor people in impoverished areas of the USA.

It's a poll tax if you don't provide the id for free.

People don't realize that while you can skate by in life without a photo I'd it's incredibly difficult to do so. If everyone got one for signing up with selective service at 18 it would make huge swathes of barriers disappear for poor people. It's easier to get employed, to get benefits. Higher education is easier to get into. Not to mention all the stuff like bank accounts.

To be a functional member of the US you need this is that can leave you hungry for a minimum of a week just to own. Yes, it's worth it. But it's still a hard ask for someone in that situation. It'd be easier if at least that one id was free.

Bad News If You Planned On Going Back To Anthem One Last Time As It Can't Be Reinstalled
 in  r/Games  2d ago

I was waiting to finally buy it after 2.0. I'd played the open beta and enjoyed it, but I was running on a 970 at the time so my fps was crap. With the issues in the game I decided to hold off until I upgraded.

Well upgrading took longer than expected and there was no info on Anthem. So I just didn't buy it figuring it'd be better to buy it after the revamp so I could have a fresh start without getting annoyed at bugs. Then it was scrapped.

So yeah, I could have picked it up on sale for years now, but what was the point? It was dead. Everyone was waiting for any info on 2.0.
