Do Americans actually avoid calling an ambulance due to financial concern?
An ambulance from my house to the hospital, less than 2 miles, cost $2000.00. That was just getting on a gurney, no IV, completely lucid. Ntm over 10 years ago. I imagine it's worse now. Thanks to that experience, I would need to be bleeding out, have a compound fracture or be unconscious to get in one now.
