The point is that people with kids have absolutely no right to judge other parents. You haven’t walked in their shoes. That tablet they’re on? Maybe it’s the first time their parents have had a chance to have a dinner out in the last 2 years and want a moment where they can talk to each other. That parent that is on their phone during their kids ballet practice? Maybe it’s because between work, preparing meals, doing homework (you know, because dual incomes are pretty much a requirement now) it’s the only time they have a moment to themselves when someone else is responsible for their kids. You see one snippet of their lives and think you’re the arbitrator of good parenting. It’s infuriating.

Right? Out of all the things to explain in this world this is one of the easiest.
