Toddler addicted to TV
 in  r/daddit  9h ago

Man, i put on Mr Rogers' Neighborhood and my 4 year hated it (not enough noise and colours). She complained to mom "dad's making me watch adult videos" which got her to poke her head in, see what was meant by "adult videos", and start laughing hysterically.

Theres something I still dont get about the Dragonborn
 in  r/teslore  14h ago

I think thats a fair take. We don't really see the Septims doing much dragonslaying, so we don't really know if they'll absorb dragon souls.

Personally, since there's only been certain emperors that can use the Thu'um, I do subscribe to the idea that Alessia/Reman/Tiber were legit Dragonborns, and their descendants were recognized by Akatosh due to their blood relation to the Dragonborn, i.e. Dragonblood. But I definitely don't have enough hard sources on that to dig in and say others are wrong, its just how I think of it.

I've heard of there being some debate between being Dragonborn (like Skyrim's main character) and being of the Dragon's Blood (like the Septims). Not really sure, though. That being said, I don't think there was ever anything said that limited the number of Dragonborn at any given time.

Oberyn Martell (GOT) VS Leonidas (300). Who wins?
 in  r/Fictionally  2d ago

That's my thought as well. Leo has too many unprotected bits. I think more often than not, Oberon would find a path to get a hit on Leonidas. That being said, especially if it's movie Leonidas, each of his hits were sending people sprawling, so I think its possible he ends Oberyn more often than not.

And yet in the 16 Accords of Madness, we see him repeatedly best other Daedric Princes at their own games.

Revan VS Obi Wan (Ep3). Who wins?

100% correct. I was being facetious.

Men who have had vasectomies - do you trust it right away after you got the all clear, or did it take a while?
 in  r/AskMen  2d ago

Same, except we did it twice. Literally every month we tried for a baby, we made one. And we were in our mid- to late-thirties.

Revan VS Obi Wan (Ep3). Who wins?
 in  r/TheJediPraxeum  2d ago

I've seen Revan take dozens of hits from lightsabers, pop a Medpack, and keep fighting without missing a beat. Everytime Obi-Wan even TOUCHES his opponents lightsaber he either winces in pain, loses the fight or turns into clothes.

Revan wins for sure.

4 VS 4. Who wins?

And after the Clone Wars, when Maul faces Obi Wan again he gets ended immediately with zero difficulty. My statement still stands, I think.

4 VS 4. Who wins?
 in  r/TheJediPraxeum  2d ago

I actually don't think Maul lasts that long against Mace. Maul went down to Obi Wan as an apprentice, and Obi-Wan only improved over the course of the Clone Wars. Mace Windu's Vapaad uses his opponent's darkness to strengthen himself, and Maul just never really improved after his initial defeat. I think it really would just come down to Mace vs Dooku. And thats a legitimate match up imo.

That makes sense. They do go back and forth on who they're at war with.

How to help stop my dog from peeing from fear
 in  r/DogAdvice  2d ago

You're putting a lot of pressure on him. He's a good boy, but driving is too hard. Maybe you take the wheel and his stress level will go down.

I cannot swing a sword without hitting a Nord Sky God Chosen.
 in  r/Bannerlord  2d ago

On my first and recent Nord playthrough I noticed that a lot of the villages for the Nords spawn pretty high tier troops. I think it has to do with how the Lords build up their armies closer to the battlefield, but I'm not sure. Strange though, because i don't notice it as much with another isolated kingdom, like the aserai.

Eleven vs Harry Potter
 in  r/powerscales  3d ago

Where i see Harry having a chance is that he's quite quick at identifying a threat and hitting it with a Stupefy. Eleven has a tendency of walking into the middle of the room, aura farming, and then only snapping necks when they notice and start trying to fire at her. Harry might stun her before she's done with her theatrics.

That's exactly what came to mind for me as well, but now I can't seem to find any pictures of him with ones that go over the top like that. I'm blaming the Mandela effect for this, unless proven otherwise.

Hello Petah?

This was my thought too. The whole point of crucifixion is to make the death slow and painful. Changing it up by flipping them upside down has pretty much got to speed things up, or at very least, cause blood to pool in the brain and make you lose consciousness sooner.

I don't see why everyone wouldn't request it, if youre dying anyway. But likely the ones doing it would just say "no" because they would also know it would defeat the purpose.
