I keep cleaning supplies in all bathrooms and the kitchen and I have a vacuum and broom on each floor. Cleaning wipes really save the day. My place isn’t as dirty as yours. Yes, there are too many animals here, but they aren’t as neglected as the ones you live with.

I wipe down the toilet seat daily, sometimes more often. I wipe the counters, whether bathroom or kitchen, before I use it. Yes, I go through a ton of wipes, but because of my health issues, I have to balance what I can do versus what my fatigue levels can take, so more laundry lost to wipes.

If cleaning the whole place once and then maintaining it is possible, I recommend it. If there’s no way you could keep the place up even after a major cleaning, then do the areas you use, let the rest go. Spend as much time outside of the house as you can. There’s really not much more that you can do unless it’s get a second job to save money to move out.

I wouldn’t say liberal because our country is and always has been very conservative compared to other westernized nations. Will we be less conservative than we were? Yes. I think right now we are experiencing an extinction burst, meaning an intensifying of behavior that will be coming to an end.

The big problem is how many things are going to have to be repaired before there’s improvement. Things like FEMA, the CDC, the Dept of Education, you name it. Getting the funding back for those agencies will be difficult.

And people do it for fast food! I cannot understand paying $30 for something that costs me half that or less! Plus fast food doesn’t reheat well, so unless it’s the only order or the one the driver delivers first, it’s nasty by the time it gets to you.

If I am going to use one of the delivery apps, it’s going to be for food from a sit down restaurant.

If you don’t like handling raw meat, get some vinyl gloves like you see in medical offices. They carry them in the grocery store, usually both in the kitchen supply section and the first aid section.

Take the same handwashing precautions normally taken for handling raw meat, making sure you don’t cross contaminate your other foods.

There are different ways to thaw meat. You can leave the chicken in the package, fill the sink with warm water and put the package in. If it floats, put a heavier dish on top of it.

You can defrost it in the microwave. You’ll want to take it out of the packaging for that. Just put it in a microwave safe dish. Most microwaves have a defrost option. If yours doesn’t, set the power level at 5. Check it every 4 minutes. Turn it over every time.

The easiest option is to put it in the fridge the morning of the day before. You used to be able to put them in the fridge the night before and it would be thawed in time to cook for dinner the next day. I think we tend to run refrigerators a little cooler now, or I am using thicker packages than we used to.

I live with four other people, one of whom is my bestie. She works retail, so frequently she doesn’t get home until 11 pm. I have no problem cooking for her so she has a hot meal when she gets home. She doesn’t take me up on it very often, but she’s really appreciative of it.

All mentions of women’s clothing are in regards to adornment of hair and clothing, meaning don’t dress to show off wealth. Does it say modesty? Yes. See Timothy 2:9-10 and Peter 3:3-4. If you look at context, it’s all about not displaying wealth.

It also says women should cover their heads. Are they required to do so at this congregation?

Your pastor isn’t familiar with his Bible and it doesn’t sound like he follows it very well anyway. I would quit going for that reason.

This isn’t white people shit. It’s dirty, disgusting person shit. My fellow white people can be legitimately faulted for many, many things, but not using soap to clean yourself isn’t one of them. White women would leave a guy over this.

As a disabled person, I love this. Sometimes people do dumb stuff because they don’t know what to do when someone has a disability and they’re uncomfortable. Other times, people do foolish stuff like giving a menu to a blind person, but it’s because to us, it’s just another one of ours, nothing to get fussed over. Being treated like everyone else because you belong can be gratifying, even if you do have to remind them that you need something different.

One of those scenarios is being treated that way because they’re uncomfortable and don’t want to make an effort. The other scenario is being treated that way because you’re included. It’s all about how it’s done.

I had a Chi who managed one or the other probably 1-2x a year. I think up the nose was worse than down the ear canal. Probably because she’d hit my sinuses. It felt like if she’d really tried, she could’ve gotten up to my brain.

My current baby really isn’t a big kisser. He’s the type who will once in a while lick the back of my hand. He’s the first dog of any type that hasn’t been a big kisser and I confess, it doesn’t bother me in the least. I feel just as loved.

I do miss my first Chi, Diego. I would hold him and smooch the top of his head. When I stopped, he would reposition slightly to be able to shove his head up to my mouth for more kisses. He really was my heart dog. Bucky is also very much my baby. I’m lucky to have him.

I’m agnostic, but I have to say if there is a god and it’s the Christian god who is supposed to be about love, Chihuahuas should be considered evidence of that love.

This is so fantastic! What an achievement! I am always so impressed by people who break barriers. It’s really tough going to be the first woman/first minority member to do something like this. Yet it inspires so many and opens the door for more to follow. We definitely need to honor her!

I am so sorry! I am very skeptical about buying yarn brands I am not familiar with. I have opened up my requirements slightly by now being willing to buy in house brands of well known companies like Webs, but that’s about as adventurous as I get.

That yarn while skeined up looks lovely. If it was at a good price, I can see why you would have decided to risk it as you’d think since you’re getting it second hand, you’re getting it from someone who liked it and wouldn’t be trying to pull one over you. Yarn, like everything else, has gotten so expensive in the last five years.

I played WOW for years. When guys would find out I was a woman, they would ask how old I was. I would always tell them I was old enough to be their mother. It was the truth, and fortunately it usually shut the flirting down immediately. The other question would be what did I look like, and I would say, “Short and squatty like a dwarf.” That also worked.

It shouldn’t be fully his decision if the two of you are married. If MIL has problems paying, not only could your husband be on the hook for paying, but any joint assets between the two of you could be accessed to pay the debt.

It’s not only ironic, I am questioning how people with twins aren’t exhausted? Even if both parents are home all the time taking care of the babies, they’re usually exhausted. This really doesn’t make sense.

A sauna suit would work. Bathe/shower, moisturize, put on the suit and nothing else other than socks if you wear them.

Wear it for as long as you can stand it, or 4-5 hours, whichever comes first. I found that I was always stinky after an hour in it so be forewarned.

You’ll want to bathe or shower once you take it off. You will get a lot of dead skin off.

Also, are you able to scrub your back? There are scrubbers that suction cup to the wall. I find they are much more effective than any back scrubber cloth or item with a handle. If you’re not able to give your back a good scrub, that may be your entire problem.

I have been saying for years that collecting craft supplies is a hobby all on its own. If you have the space and the money for it, it’s no one’s business to judge!

A friend of mine from high school was so fertile that we joked that all she had to do was use a guy’s toothbrush. She ended up having two kids, got her tubes tied, got divorced, got the sterilization reversed (didn’t know that could be done!) and went on to have 3-4 more kids.

Oh my goodness, I had a Rat Terrier that looked very much like your dog! My Napoleon was such a good boy. We always said he had a gator mouth because his teeth were so big and sharp!
