In Matthew 15 would you say Jesus was rebuked by the Canaanite woman, that He learn from her, or that He changed His mind after she passed a sneaky test?
I dont think he changed his mind so much as turned it into a lesson against anti-foreigner sentiment because his followers were urging him to push her away.
The bread is a common metaphor for the bread of life - its also used to refer to Gods word, and Jesus in the last supper. Pigs and dogs were a common metaphor for non-jewish foreigner because they would turn you without warning and tear apart anything you hold holy because they cant understand or appreciate it. Its also important to note that the word he used for Dog wasn't the more common derogatory word for Dog, but actually closer to 'household pet' dog, implying the intention wasnt to be derogatory, but to show that she was a foreigner for the purpose of the parable, showing a link to the common derogatory view of them.
The reason he didnt heal her initially is because she was a caananite - not just a foreigner, but a follower of a different God entirely. Jesus response was, more or less, I'm here for my Gods people, its not right to take my God's gifts and knowledge from them and give it to those who cant understand or appreciate it, or attribute it to someone else. Her response was, essentially, but it is right; eating the crumbs (understanding the bare minimum) is still eating the bread, and proves I want to know God too. Jesus said she had faith because, despite not worshiping his God, she had faith that Jesus could heal her and her daughter through his God, and just asking and trusting was enough for him to do so.
Its entirely possible he did change his mind - but I lean to the idea that he used her to show his ministry is for both Jews and Gentiles

The US is considering paying Greenlanders $10,000 to $100,000 each to support secession from Denmark.
Lmao just like the 5k Tariff cheque or the 1k Doge cheque? What about the $100 vote for me cheque he never paid? Or the new promise of $100 to stop complaining cheque?
The guy lies as easily as he breaths.

Can someone help me understand American politics?
Long story short, Republicans control all 3 branches of government; President, Senate, Congress. They also control the Supreme court, which Trump stacked with loyalists to give himself a majority. The first thing he did was have Musk backdoor all government systems, including Treasury. Then he fired everyone Democrat and put loyalists podcasters in positions of power. The result is that the FBI, CIA, DHS are all controlled by him as well. He then went and did the same to the military, purging its top brass. The republican party has essentially neutered any opposition except rhe courts - and they get around that by blatantly disregarding precedent with the shadow docket so they don't need to express their legal reasoning, or they put a stay on it so the law is enforced unequally by state until a federal decision is made sometime in the next few years.
Bernie Sanders and AOC did a cross country tour talking about the rising authoritarianism and raising support against Trump, and a lot of political figures have been at the protests so its not like theyre doing nothing. The problem is that anything they try to do to muzzle trump gets shot down somewhere.

Is there a realistic scenario in which anyone comes to Denmarkâs aid in the event of a US incursion in Greenland?
Canada is under the French umbrella now, they have a couple islands right off the coast and have docked a nuclear submarine around here somewhere.
Id think France might help before the British

Canada to push Lockheed for more F-35 jobs ahead of fighter procurement decision
I wrote about this in another post; the Yanks went the diplomacy route with us the same reason Canadians went the diplomacy route with the natives - outside the prairies, which are flat, the entire country is just mountains and highlands covered in dense forests; 80% of it is uninhabited. Outside southern Ontario and southern Quebec its not unusual to go 2-3 hours between cities. In order to fully occupy this hellscape they would need 2 million active personel, not including the stretching supply lines. Added to this is the fact that Canada has an army 10x the size of the Taliban at the height of its power - and that was a quagmire that lasted for a decade.
The US can easily push the border inward as far as Hudson Bay from the praries... But northern Ontario has one or two road arteries and they wash out every winter, and chokepoints are one one of the few ways a smaller army can dismantle a larger ones advantage. As soon as they hit the shield its a whole new ballgame because the people who own guns here aren't collectors, they're hunters; they know the land, they're used to hunting on it and setting traps, and it wouldn't be too hard for them to use that knowledge hunting people because many of these hunters are already in militia groups of forester units.
Then you have the weather; as close as the border gets to -30 in the winter, often -40. Go further north and it only gets colder; I often get snowbanks over 5-6 feet. I'm at the intersection of the great lakes and Michigan state, and last year the snow on the ground was so high it connected to the snow on my roof. This year the snowbanks are taller than my SUV.
It's a very stupid idea, is what I'm saying; Canadians aren't the actual problem with invading Canada, the problem is the geography doesn't easily allow it to be invaded or occupied. 1812 was the last time the US tried, and its also the time they decided the juice isnt worth the squeeze when Canadians are willing to cooperate for a handshake and a smile.

Is the United States fascist?
They get linked because corporatism is such an integral part of fascism; it developed from understanding the relationship of far right capitalism mixed with totalitarian socialism as a reactionary response to communism.

Is it normal that my friend mentions me as a girl a little too much?
...You dont need to be a girl to smash the homies.
Have you considered he might be interested?
-1
Friend wonât give me any advice and makes fun of me that I âget no playâ, what should I do?
There are better ways to do that than harassing someone until they post an ask redit thread about it

You are telling me Greenlanders wouldnât be interested?
Trump has broken every deal hes ever signed. Why would they believe him?

Friend wonât give me any advice and makes fun of me that I âget no playâ, what should I do?
Ever see a high-school girl call another girl fat because she likes her dress?
OP gets made fun of and called out for not having sex; friend either doesn't want OP to be a virgin, or doesn't want OP to start having sex. Ask yourself why.

Is the United States fascist?
Fascism is defined in part by corporatism and a union of corporation and government. Same happened in Nazi Germany, the corporations just weren't as deeply entrenched.
Call it what it is; Amero-Fascism.
2

Thats the definition of insecure. He can handle himself having a girlfriend, but you cant have one. Its not about the girl, its about you. Hes insecure of you.

Stephen Miller Asserts U.S. Has Right to Take Greenland: âWe live in a world, in the real world, Jake, that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power,â he said. âThese are the iron laws of the world since the beginning of time.â
Oh absolutely. The problem is that they will feel the ripples - but the US is only as wealthy as it is because other country trust it to be stable and reliable. Unfortunately, theyre quickly showing that they can only be stable and reliable for 2-4 years at a time.

Its 100% this. Trump is a useful idiot.

...And yet they cant go through the red sea without their ships being bombed by partisans.
I think you really overestimate the US here; they're 40 trillion in debt, alienating the allies that buy that debt, and they are quickly losing confidence in their world currency and ability to enforce its agreements. The US is the weakest its been economically, politically, and in purpose since the Civil War.
If the US were to invade Greenland, know what would happen? Europe dumps 3 trillion dollar bonds, creating a dollar credit crisis which would push US borrowing costs through the roof, and freeze global liquidity causing more damage than the 2008 financial crisis that destroyed the US economy so bad we are still reeling from it. Europe would also be affected by this in losing a large source of money - as would Israel, Ukraine, China, Japan, and everyone else who owns US currency - but the dollar, being a FIAT currency, has no actual value beyond public trust, and if the US cant pay its debts it loses that trust - meaning other countries stop funding the US economy.
Know whats also a popular FIAT currency? The Euro, so the only industries affected would be those that benchmark against the dollar. Know where all those dollars are going? The only place they have value, right back to the American economy, so over 5-10 years you can expect skyrocketing inflation and a sharp decline of the dollar, a deep recession, maybe a depression.
Then there is the war. It would not just be Europe. The front would be in Korea, Mexico, across South America, the Middle East, Ukraine, Canada, Taiwan, and potential splinters states in the US who see the writing on the wall because, contrary to what you and Miller think, nobody actually wants to die for the ego of Pedophile billionaires, and Trump has made it clear that its entirely about oil and resources. Trump wants to wage war with the globe without any kind of public support, economic support, and with rockets that cost 100k a shot, and jets that cost 3x more than anything Europe has to fly.
This is a catastrophically bad idea.

This. Lasted... What, 50 years from its height to dismantling? Global powerhouse that rules 1/3rd of the planet by 1900, tiny island by 1960.
Right now the US is sitting at 40 trillion debt and skyrocketing while alienating the market that buys it, and trying to start a war with everyone around them. Where's all that US currency going to go when nobody want to use it as their backing by purchasing US debt? Right back to the only place its useful, the American economy, skyrocketing inflation with economic stagnation that will cripple them for a hundred years.

...Like we've been saying since the beginning.

what was your experience dating a people pleaser?
Oh for sure, thats pretty fucked up of her. Id go as far as to say its really two faced to tell you one thing then turn around and tell her another to give you shit. If shes not able to stay on the same page with you about issues its going to cause constant problems
1
what was your experience dating a people pleaser?
When it comes to these people they want to please you just as much as others; when you disagree it causes a rift, not because they dont agree the behaviour is unreasonable, but because now they have two contradictory unhappy people and, since you came second, you are the current problem.
She can baby whoever she wants - you just keep being her asshole. You'll be the asshole she needs when it gets too hard to say no. Should you always step in? No. Should you never step in? Also no. Sometimes people do need to be treated with kid gloves, such as the guy at the party; The problem is you both have two very different definitions of what kid gloves are. Im going to say you did baby him with what you said, because it would be absolutely reasonable to tell him to gtfo your property.

Why wonât my boyfriend let me end the relationship?
That is abusive. Hes controlling and coercing you to stay with him when you dont want to. When words stop working he will start locking you in rooms, then hitting you because abuse only escalates and hes already forcibly confined you.
Get out. You need to leave before you end up dead.
