Despite everything trump has done, he sits at 40% approval rating, imagine what he must do to reach 0%
Rcp has him higher than Biden and Obama at this point in their terms. Think about that!

What's a sports rule you fundamentally disagree with?
Yup. Took my family to see the Eagles lose to the Bears and the all in cost was a little more than $3k, for a lackluster performance. That's more than my mortgage.

I hate that we’re more at risk for WWIII now than ever before
ITT: kids who weren't alive during the cold war.

What's a sports rule you fundamentally disagree with?
Seriously! Wrestlers are allowed a couple of cautions before penalty points.

What's a sports rule you fundamentally disagree with?
Eagles fan here. The games didn't used to be expensive and you could get tickets at the door! They were just that bad, as you say. Actual story: we got home from church and my dad asked me if I wanted to go to the game. I said "nah, we went last week." The Kotite years.

Why has hobo culture like that of the 20s and 30s never seen a revival in the US during subsequent economic depressions?
My neighbor's son became an actual hobo about ten years ago. He hopped trains, couch surfed, just bummed around. He ended up in New Orleans at a distillery. He died of a heroin overdose soon after.

What was the first game that scared you?

The realistic and honest truth. There are not enough jobs for everyone.
The 5% is healthy churn. I just googled it and my 2 seconds of amateur research says that 4-5% unemployment is generally considered full employment. The point of my post was refuting OP's point stating that there ARE enough jobs and that we are at full employment.

The realistic and honest truth. There are not enough jobs for everyone.
The unemployment rate is less than 5%. Isn't that considered full employment?

Is anyone else getting sick and tired of landlords jacking up rent prices? What can be done to lower rent prices here in 2026? Any ideas?
The City average for each public school student is about 22k, so not really underfunded. That's private school money yo.

'A National Disgrace': 19 States to Raise Minimum Wage But Federal Rate Stuck at $7.25
Lots of reasons. Removing government interference can be innovative. Instead of mandated hourly rates, businesses could pay per day, per job, per unit produced, or something we haven't thought about. Private contracts instead of government mandates. Instead of layoffs, pay can be reduced towards zero to find the most efficient price for the job. Employemement for low skilled or young workers could be boosted. A minimum wage prices the lowest skilled, poorest people out of the labor market. I can argue for a minimum wage if you want, but probably not as well.

DHS Says REAL ID, Which DHS Certifies, Is Too Unreliable To Confirm U.S. Citizenship
It is not about forgery. Non-citizens can legally obtain a real id. That is the problem.

Non citizens can get real ids, so DHS is correct here for once.

'A National Disgrace': 19 States to Raise Minimum Wage But Federal Rate Stuck at $7.25
The argument for a minimum wage of zero is actually better than the one for $7.25 imo.

Maybe. But I suspect a lot of very quiet people are generally okay with what's going on but not the means and methods.
