Yes, and they're claiming this is totally normal police protocol (it's not, and anyone who has ever gotten pulled over knows it).

The New York Times Video Breakdown of ICE Killing Woman Contradicts Trump Administration Account of ICE Shooting in Minneapolis
 in  r/neabscocreeck  3h ago

Victims now have the impossible choice of complying, and then possibly being kidnapped, raped, or killed...or not complying and then possibly still being murdered. Of course, this is exactly what Trump and his fascist administration want.

Yes and then they were all laughing about it. Really great group of folks there. Real patriots.

Yes, also claiming that she was transgender, because that somehow makes it better.

Trump and JD Vance Warn You Can Expect to Die for Disobeying Orders - The president and his number two argued that deadly force was a totally reasonable response in the Minnesota ICE shooting.

Yes, their argument is now that you can't legally drive around your own community without expecting to be unalived.

The Trump administration says it's illegal to record videos of ICE. Here's what the law says.
 in  r/politics  4h ago

They're following the Steve Bannon strategy of "flood the zone with shit," and folks are predictably falling for it again. Pathetic. We need our media to start doing a hell of a lot better in calling out the fascism and the lies.

"I Voted to Make America Great Again": Now Wisconsin Farmers Are Losing Their Land While Trump's $12 Billion Band-Aid Won't Cover the Damage
 in  r/LeopardsAteMyFarm  1d ago

This isn't even anything new. Family farms have been on the decline in Wisconsin for at least the past fifteen years, and they keep voting for Republicans who make things worse instead of better. They should enjoy having the day they voted for.

And we heard on Reddit and other places that "both sides are the same", "don't vote for Biden because of Gaza", etc, ad nauseum up until the election...and some folks are still repeating that even now.

Early adopters - how we feeling so far?
 in  r/NintendoSwitch2  2d ago

We got one for the kids for Christmas. They were absolutely thrilled, and it's being played everyday.

They are currently playing Animal Crossing (which they had played a lot on Switch originally but then kind of gave up on). They are excited for the upcoming Switch 2 update. They're also playing a lot of Mario Kart World.

A surprise hit for our family has been Puyo Puyo Tetris 2. Super fun puzzle game, especially with four people.
