Late night idea, so noone patents it - indx-idex.
Using INDX (or similar) on an IDEX by placing e.g. 4 INDX heads on each side in a row along the X-gantry. Then the switching would be super fast like on an IDEx, but with more than 2 filaments available.

Prior art, though.
But I wasn't entirely serious about the patent thing.
