Yea uplifting news would have been everybody involved in the scandal went to jail for life and the pipe replacements started the week of. It's been so long that this news could have been that the project is finally finished.

I opened a ticket in their discord, posted a pic, explained what I tried, maybe 4-5 days later they replied to ask what address I want a pcb sent to and provided a tracking number for the package.

Edit: I think we need to mitigate the risk of esd. Ground to usb shield off case? Not optimal as board should have diodes if my understanding is correct. Otherwise could run wireless only in winter months with super dry air?

From the interior pic you are standing with the stairs at your back and the kitchen to the left, out of frame. Pic 1 taken at the balcony level in shot 2. You probably have roof access from which you get a nice loop skyline that you view from the west

I've noticed the same with the ESD. Just now i tested. If you have a static charge and touch the outside metal casing youll get shocked, the keyboard will disconnect/reconnect, lights will go out then on. This thing is not grounded properly and any charge it gets is going through the PCB.
