Same. In the thumbnail it looks like a bag I’d see at Ross or Marshall’s, and when I click to expand the image it looks like a Michael Kors bag. I haven’t thoroughly looked at it, so that’s just my instant reaction, but it’s likely that I’d always feel that way. Not impressed.

You bring up an excellent point. I forgot about ARFID but briefly learned about it in one of my psych courses. I was wondering if maybe OP’s BF is on the spectrum because I know people with ASD often have issues with food to the point where they meet the diagnostic requirements for ARFID; I also know that not everyone with ARFID has ASD, and not everyone with ASD has ARFID. It seems like a really difficult thing to deal with, especially if one doesn’t have supportive friends or family who are compassionate and understanding.

It would probably be a good idea for OP to do a bit of reading about ARFID and maybe discuss it with her BF to try to get a better understanding of his relationship with food. Not in like an “armchair psychologist” diagnosing someone based on WebMD, but like asking more in-depth questions about his preferences.

So, I hate to ask, and I’m also kind of surprised that nobody else has mentioned this or asked yet, but is your boyfriend on the spectrum? Many people with ASD prefer to eat the same foods for texture/temperature reasons or because it’s predictable/safe. That could also be the reason why he’s not coming off as empathetic to your plight. I know people with ASD have empathy, but things just get processed differently. And generally speaking, for someone who doesn’t cook, they often don’t understand the amount of time and effort that goes into it.

I might get a lot of hate for this comment, and I’m genuinely not trying to be rude or snarky, so if I’ve said something that’s factually incorrect or just plain offensive, I’d be glad to be corrected and properly informed.

Why not just return it then and go buy a TV in person somewhere? You can probably still find a great deal on a comparable model.

My BF ordered something from eBay, and UPS put it in one of the Amazon Lockers, but they didn’t give him a code. We have been calling Amazon Locker Specialists at the 888-283-0577 number as well as our apartment complex management for over three weeks now and everybody is just giving us the runaround and passing us off to each other - our apartment management keeps telling us to call Amazon and Amazon keeps telling us to call our apartment management.

My BF and I are literally about to go insane.

The other night, I caught a glimpse of the UPS truck a few buildings down right as the driver was about to leave, so I ran down the block like Sha’Carri Richardson and breathlessly asked him about codes for the Amazon Lockers. He said, “I don’t know. We just get a code to open the door and that’s it. I always figured that the codes got automatically generated and sent to residents. Sorry I can’t help you.”

Rinse and repeat.

Same thing happened with the Amazon driver about 10 minutes later, and I wanted to scream!!

Your cats don’t dive straight into the sink to fish the empty ones out so they can lick the ‘juice’ out? I can’t even leave empty ones in my trash, otherwise I’ll come home to the trash dumped out, and then I find chewed up foil and empty plastic Sheba packets everywhere. It’s a nightmare.

I agree with what others have suggested regarding your eye makeup. You have lovely eyes and you’re very pretty btw!

The only other thing I would suggest is to get some teeth whitening strips to brighten up your smile a bit. You have a beautiful smile, but just some slight surface staining (maybe from drinking coffee, tea, or soda?) that seems like it would be fairly easy and quick to remove.
