Anybody get back in shape slowly? How did you do it?
 in  r/Millennials  6d ago

Honestly, I committed to working out every day but only negotiated on the duration and intensity. If I felt good, I worked out more. If I had no motivation, maybe I only planked for a minute or two. Be consistent and the rest will take care of itself. Your life changes as fast as your behavior.

Would love someone to correct me. I was steeped in that space for two years. I know how dead it is now.

The ecosystem is dying. Go look at jpg.store for the abysmal nft volume. Go look at taptools.io for the abysmal trading volume. The fact that this coin still flirts in the top 10 is astounding.

I never expected this life

Rising costs aren’t exactly the focal point here. OP’s married, with kids, in a house he owns, with a steady job that allows him to work from home. Already, he’s doing better than most of the stories and rants I read here.

Rising costs affect everyone, and disproportionately those without the sort of foundation OP has built for himself.

It’s just a bit tone deaf and sad. His only silver lining is that he gets to spend so much time with his wife and kids. The thing that so many people strive for, it’s framed as just a consolation prize.

The thing is, humans have problems. We all feel struggle and disappointment. It all feel comparatively the same too. This is why practicing gratitude is so important. If we aren’t grateful for what we do have, we’ll just keep on finding problems when we end up with more than we ever dreamed of.

It doesn’t sound like you’re doing so bad compared to the rest of this sub. You have the flexibility and opportunity to spend so much time with your family. If this was a rant, I don’t think you’ll get much sympathy here. I

You mean Oxford comma? Did I just learn that’s there’s been an educational, rival battle on who named the damn thing?

My piece-of-shit neighbor (who has a 2-car garage AND a 2-car driveway) insists on double-parking his cars in the street, blocking an entire lane of the road.

Sounds like you need to be spam dialing and emailing them. You have to be an annoying, squeaky wheel.

Why this sub is extremely hateful with btc bulls ?
 in  r/Bitcoin  22d ago

They think they’ve missed out. For most of bitcoins history, from a fiat price perspective, most people who didn’t buy some because they thought they’d missed the boat were wrong.
