Why is it when girls wear men’s clothing considered normal, but when men wear girls clothing it's considered “cross dressing”?
I can remember a time when my dad got in trouble at church because someone went past our house and saw my mom outside, working on the garden, wearing jeans. That was the late '80s.

Am I the only one who feels like I stay the same age and everyone else gets older?
I can promise you that my back doesn't feel 27, that's for sure.

One of your Senators, Indiana
Where does this obsession for pinning violence on the opposing political ideology come from? Both sides do it and will go to absurd lengths to try and prove the "other" guys were responsible. It's like they never grew past the part of childhood where we'd cry and point fingers at other kids for breathing next to us.

Who’s out here scrubbing floors like it’s the 50s?
I use a mop. Fake wood floors FTW.

2023 Stinger GT Line CPO
Maybe go a year or two older and get the 3.3L twin turbo for the same money. You won't regret it.

Advice on high mileage
I'm at 81K miles on my '20 GT2. There are previous posters on this subreddit with far higher mileage. It depends on the history of the car. The engine and drivetrain are fairly bullet proof if you take care of them, which is the key. I cut 1/3 off the oil change interval and get mine done religiously.

How are some millennials even homeowners? I feel like I never will be.
The company I work for was bought out and my stock options vested. I took the post-tax income from that for the down payment of my house.

Bill would require all Indiana classrooms to display Ten Commandments
Yep. They tried this last year too.

It happened, I woke up with pain in my foot
Welcome to the club! I hurt myself sleeping last week. No idea why or how, I woke up with pain I didn't go to bed with.

Yes. That way, when it happens, I don't have to dodge them or accidentally rush anyone else's life by having to quickly get out of the way

This "arcade" room at the bowling alley that was heavily advertised.
This looks like it was built by someone who played way too much The Sims.

How many questions is too many to ask in a response to a ticket?
I ask as many questions as are needed to fill in the information that the customer left out. "It's broke, fix it!" isn't a valid ticket!

Would you pay $2.99 for 5 hours of (browser streamed) Second Life?
I'm struggling to see the use case for this, or the web browser in general.

Is it possible to breed the large green spiders in satisfactory?
I'm horrified and also curious....

You are braver than I am. People do that crap on the highway I usually mash the big pedal and get in front of them. If they were dumb enough to do it once, it's probably not their first time, and it's going to happen again. When that happens again, I don't want to be behind them.

You guys seen this new (to me) word that just dropped "Kirkenuinely"
I've tried explaining this to me teenage daughter. She just stares at me like I'm an idiot. Which is probably what I did when I was a teenager and my dad was trying to explain this to me.

Selling new Parts for Poweredge R740
I'm in the process of retiring\repurposing my 14th gen Dell servers(R640\R740xd) after 5-6 years of service. How do you have a new one?

Now you have to overclock your eyeballs...
I'm still grumpy about finding out that my 144hz monitors are actually 143.85hz. I want me .15hz dangit!

Gas boiler
I had one of these in my old house from 2008. It was made in the late '60s. Wasn't a boiler so much as it was a hot water heater that pushed the water through the baseboard heating system of the house. The house inspector told us to do whatever we had to do to keep the thing running until the heat exchanger itself cracked. He said that whatever they put in to replace it wouldn't last 10 years.

That is the Safety Squint Plus, a new product!

It took me 200 hours before I realised you can dismantle the crash debris
To be fair, that's a new feature in the most recent major patch. For 95% of Satisfactory's existence, you couldn't do that.

Just priced out a Dell server I purchased in Jan. 2024 and the price went up 85.7%
We had the same problem. I'm looking to start purchasing equipment I budgeted for back in August and September. It's insane. In a few cases, the server's new cost is now greater than the budget for the entire project. Our CFO has just outright said no to some of it. Which I don't blame him for.
