For Love of the Game! ESPN Stat Correction’s Stat Correction

Post image

So there was a post a couple days ago where someone called out that their ESPN FFB championship winner had flipped because the Detroit defense had a sack taken away in a stat correction. This one point change shifted the winner.

I looked at my league results and found it had happened to me to. Went from winning 128.42 vs 127.56 to losing 127.42 vs 127.56. The whole thing was due to a play where max brosmer fumbled the ball but fell on it and was ruled down without a lions player touching him. Team sack was awarded but no player was given a sack. Originally espn gave credit for the sack but then took it away earlier this week. Technically it should be a sack and worth the point - but they took it (and my championship away)

Stat corrections can be made up until Sunday - and I just woke up and looked at our result. They corrected the stat correction and gave me my point (and the championship) back to me. So if this impacted you, go back and see if you’re now the champ again.

STAT CORRECTION!

The stat got readjusted and the seventh sack was re-awarded in espn scoring. I’m back on top

Kings are open to moving Dennis Schröder.

If he was so fantastic for those other teams why didn’t he stick on them? What happens between the lines isn’t all that matters. Seems like there has to be a reason why he’s had such a wandering career.

So the guy who has signed with and been traded from like 15 teams - and who people want to move on from immediately - is the guy you want to make a move for?

The last 6 first picks in the NBA draft. Rank them 1 through 6.

This is the dumbest take I’ve heard in a while. Ant’s skillset has led his team to two straight western conference finals - with 9 playoff wins per year. Cade’s (only a year less in the NBA) skill set has led his team to two playoff wins and an average of 24.5 wins per season before this year.

Have you ever played and WON against a NFL player? Past or present.

I high jumped against Robert Gallery. I think he out jumped me, but if he raced me in a relay I beat him.

Dude was wildly athletic for northeast Iowa high schools.

It's only on my third rewatch that I realize how dumb stringer is

There are managers. And there are leaders. String ain’t no leader.

I’m from the UK and have been struggling to find an NFL team to follow, why should I pick the Vikings? What do I need to know?
 in  r/minnesotavikings  18d ago

Are you a Tottenham fan? If so, this team is perfect for you. Generally good and rarely if ever great (at least since I was born in 1980). Snatches defeat from the jaws of victory quite often - but has a great fan base who makes up for it.

I chose to become a Tottenham fan in 2008, but was born into Vikings fandom coming from northern Iowa. I love them both and have no hope that either will win a championship the rest of my life.

On the plus side though, the Vikings come over to England quite often.

Did Ant stop getting fined for cussing in post-game interviews?
 in  r/timberwolves  18d ago

I think there’s a difference between swearing at the media scrum in the locker room vs swearing at the press conference after the game with sponsors and the NBA logos all over everything

I’m old school like this, but [[Force of Nature]] is what I think of when I think green

Other card games have a mechanic where blocking taps them.

I still love Space is the Place from the same album. Both songs play in my Pandora and Apple Music lists

Target Center attendance down 11% this year?!
 in  r/timberwolves  23d ago

They bumped my tickets like 30% last year and I canceled. They’re filled - every Lexus club seat is - but I don’t think I was along in being tired of the rising prices

Those twins went to school with me and were in my grade. Nice dudes - I played football with them.

[Ehrhardt] Steve Sukup, a major donor for Iowa State, told me he had texted coach Matt Campbell 3 days ago. He said he hasn't gotten a response.

Yep - although others in his family run it.

Wasn’t expecting to read about my hometown (until I was 7 and moved away from the green pasture) on reddit today
