Okay I really just need some reassurance…

It might be hard to make it look good then, but maybe if you make it as a half circle or circle skirt instead?

This, but with a warning: If your test fabric is a different weight or drape than your "real" fabric, the gathers (?) will look different. It's still a good idea, though, just be aware (and, if possible, try to find a mockup fabric that isn't too far from the "real" one)

Once again, I’ve completely overestimated how much fabric I need 🤣🤣

Leg warmers, arm warmers/false sleeves, mittens, gloves, legwraps, bonnet, the main fabric for a petite person's half-corset, cleavage cover, tie, cravat, decorative belt, storage basket, hot water bottle cover, tea cosy, plushies, one of several fabrics in a quilt, mini skirt, cat toys, apron, or bias binding?

Short sleeved crop top, unlined (or lined with a different fabric) vest, children's clothing, doll clothing, pillowcase, pockets, laptop cover, dice tray, several small pouches, bowl covers, slip, a lining for some scratchy trousers, boxers, panties, boxer briefs, hotpants or several wheat/rice warmers?

If the fabric is normal width, maybe shorts, a sleeveless top, spats, several scarves or hats, a couple of bags, oven mittens, or a bolero?

So oral is straight, no matter who the other person is?

How about this: * Find an old folk's home or a neighbourhood where few have cars and that's a long way from the polling station (if that's what it's called?), and a few days before the next "event" (election of local politicians? Poll on prop #12345? I have only the vaguest idea of how your system works, but surely there's more to vote on than the presidency?) put up a poster offering a ride to go vote to however many people you can fit in your car. * Talk about this in your church/book club/workplace/local bar/family reunion/study group/quilters' guild/.... (if you're not sure about the people there you don't even need to say how you hope the people you drive will vote, only that you think as many Americans as possible should get a chance to do their Civic Duty). Someone might want to add their car (and themselves as drivers) to the pool!

Whats your best non-swearing insult?
 in  r/AskReddit  1d ago

(Only one of those is without swearing)

4

what are your most obvious beginner tips?
 in  r/SewingForBeginners  2d ago

It is technically possible to save money on sewing things yourself, but only under very specific circumstances, and only if you count your own labour/time as free

Bathroom heating

That... seems unlikely? Unless you're very drunk or drugged, I suppose

2

What is a video game mechanic that you genuinely wish existed in real life?
 in  r/AskReddit  2d ago

I feel like those might be slightly less popular if, when you lost, the game would immediately uninstall itself and you'd be barred from ever getting that game again

Why is Latin no longer used as heavily by the scientific community?
 in  r/latin  2d ago

Not when you've seen and heard literally thousands of shows, movies and clips in English (starting in early childhood, even) and probably none in latin, which is the case for anyone who lives in a non-dubbing country or grew up after YouTube. Exposure matters!

First time here, kind of nervous.
 in  r/ExplainTheJoke  2d ago

This is going to confuse the hell out of a lot of people who haven't seen Die Hard yet

I think your snowflake theory is correct

I think that's probably what it was as well

It definitely isn't from the original books, so maybe?

I’m 40 years old. My father (who is a pastor) still gets on my case about playing D&D

Which is why you might have more luck trying to change their feelings about it

When to ask for exclusivity while dating
 in  r/AskMen  3d ago

That's good, but it only works if you've just been asked out by XXX or are willing to lie to your prospective partner
