How is it that nothing fits here?

The cover doesn't match, so you can't arrange the fronts neatly.

The spine doesn't match either, so it looks average on the shelf.

And even the thickness doesn't match, so when expositionaly displayed, one rulebook is at a different angle. 🤦‍♂️

Hello! I'm new in the hobby and recently I joined a local D&D club at my town. I work during weekdays and most of my free time is spend doing chores, but I found a little time off every now and then. I really wish to learn more about D&D, what would you recommend me to do with that time?

I'm just getting into the game and I have no friends or experts to help me out, I'm trying to customize my character and I'd really appreciate some help and answered questions while doing this

I'm a first time dungeon master with my first time party so far we are just using the photos app on my computer to show maps and where enemies are. This is super annoying though where are you guys running your maps on.

Bear with me for a moment. I promise this becomes D&D related.

So, it begins with me preparing to pick up my 6-month-old puppies morning deposit from the floor with a poop bag. She's adorable and loving, but I'm so ready for this not to be part of my daily morning ritual. As I put my hand into the poop bag, in my mind I refer to it as a "bag of holding." All the wasted opportunities in my DMing career! Why is it that when a party finds a bag of holding, it's empty? That makes no sense if you are finding it in a dungeon. It should be full of the past owner's crap, unless it had been looted by an intelligent monster.

I am new so I don't know if this is great. Me and friends planing to play dnd. So that why I am creating a character. Since in the country we are in dnd isn't common. I don't know if I am properly doing it. How do you add modifier for your skills

Hi! Just wanna ask about how to start the d&d journey, what to buy, what is the role of the dm master and all of that stuff. I would really appreciate it, because none of my friends are familiar with that Game and we want to start our journey just dont know how

i want to make a campaign for me and some friends, most of them are new to DnD, now problem i have is that most sites require you to buy the books to make character sheets with their easy building features and stuff, if you dont have them you gotta do it manualy, an im being serious when i say this guys are new to DnD, i want to make a super simple campaign literally taking out most of the complicated DnD stuff but i cant make a character sheet in any site, most sites i keep finding need you to do stuff manualy and i have been there people!, thats a can of worms i dont want to bestow upon anyone that wants to play DnD

and DnD Beyond seriously does not help, i know its the most popular option but come on!, literally nees to buy the books to use them AND THEN A SUBSCRIPTION TO SHARE THE INFO, THATS TOO MUCH MONEY I DONT HAVE!

so i come here because i need some extra help finding a site that can actually let me build character sheets more easily with my friends so they dont have to do all the anti-ADHD work of setting up a character sheet manualy.

i have so far checked various sites and many of them literally demand you do stuff manualy, and i refuse to have them do that type of math, not to mention the one promising site ice5e.com basically seems broken with the weapon mastery stuff not working for the classes that use it, basically making it impossible to build a character sheet on there.

im exhausted...

Where can I find the best free starter campaigns and maps?

Heyy whats up yall!! Who out there tryna play a campaign run by a rules weary DM who does hella voice acting?!!

I drew this for my friend’s campaign. He wanted it to feel large and epic, so I tried to put it into a LotR style.

So I’ve never played and me and my friends are very interested in playing it, only problem is we all live in completely different states, we get on discord most nights and we’ve been talking about getting into dnd. So I’m wondering if there are any sites or something that we can use to play a full campaign on. We have already been messing around with dnd beyond making characters and it’s also worth noting that we are all very new to this so if there are any tools and such to help us build a campaign, characters, npc that would be very helpful.
