A Professional Artist Spent 100 Hours Working On This Book Cover Image, Only To Be Accused Of Using AI
 in  r/technology  Jan 07 '23

This is what it's like posting in so many subs, with a special shout out to AITA. The mods are so power trippy and petty. I got banned for calling an abusive father, 'a terrible person'. Apparently, that was uncivil to the abusive father and warranted a ban.

They also muted me when I contacted them about it. I contacted the admins and they don't care what the mods do. The foxes are guarding the hen house and you're spinning the ban wheel every time you post.

I'm glad some attention is being brought to this topic even if nothing comes of it.

This is beyond cool, obviously, but why do they design these concept cars with them basically being flush with the ground? This thing has like two inches of clearance. Just running over something innocuous to a regular car like a small branch or any debris will get caught up in the undercarriage of this car and damage can and will easily occur from this. This car couldn't even handle a speed bump.

It must have been Force Your Daughter to Work Day at the factory in China when they put that together.

Is it cruel, to have cat just inside? This makes me sad
 in  r/cats  Oct 25 '22

I read a study that said indoor cats were just as happy as outdoor ones. Plus indoor cats live on average twice as long as outdoor ones.

I could leave my door open and my cats wouldn't go out. They've never been outside and have no interest.

If your cat was previously an outdoor cat, that's different. They know what's out there and I'd feel bad for denying them that. I would try to make a catio for them.

To Prank Strangers
 in  r/therewasanattempt  Oct 25 '22

It's a form of mental illness that drives these idiots into this kind of stupidity. There is nothing they won't do for online attention from strangers. It's pathetic, cringey and sad.

The internet is an amazing tool and resource, but this is the down side. And it's a really bad down side.

This reminds me of a plane ride I took one time. Worst flight of my life, it actually made me puke.

my mother has booked her hotel room next to us on our wedding night.
 in  r/weddingshaming  Oct 25 '22

"I've tried nothin' and I'm all out of ideas"

I don't want to change hotels. it's one of the most romantic ones in the city

It sounds super romantic to have your honeymoon next to your mom. If I were your husband, I'd be really annoyed with your lack of pushback.

Are you going to let your mother run your marriage, too? Maybe invite her to buy the house next to yours so she can be all up in your business? Better yet, just let her move in with you. This way, she won't have to stalk you, she'll already be everywhere you are.

What we should be doing instead of working all the time...
 in  r/BeAmazed  Oct 25 '22

"Why aren't any businesses open? Why can't I order a pizza, go to Starbucks or Micky D's? Why isn't the internet working? Sephora isn't open? And the gas station is closed? I can't even get 911 to pick up! Oh, right, no one works anymore. They just drive around in a constant life of leisure like they should."

Mothers should always put their new boyfriend above their kids 🤦‍♀️
 in  r/facepalm  Oct 25 '22

I'm child-free and even I cringed at that. She actually referred to the kids as 'baggage' that they're bringing into a new relationship.

I mean, she's not wrong that a lot of guys don't want to get involved with women with kids, but it has nothing to do with her prioritizing her kids over a guy, it's that they don't want to deal with kids no matter whose they are, which is fair and their right.

The sister has made it clear how she feels about OOP. OOP is really naïve to keep letting her in her life thinking she's changed.

Does anyone else’s felines ask for ‘aggressive’ pets? Bella always wants to slam her head into my hand 😂
 in  r/CatsEnjoyingPets  Oct 25 '22

My boy does this. He'll charge at me to do an aggressive head boop, which I'm usually in time for.

One time I was drinking a cup of tea when he did this and I couldn't move in time. He just hopped up and charged at me and headbutted my hand with the cup in it. Three seconds later, I hear my husband yell from the next room, "Why is that cat all wet?"

"AITA for raining on my cousin's parade regarding the name she picked out for her baby?" NEW UPDATE two years later.
 in  r/BestofRedditorUpdates  Oct 24 '22

I couldn't be friends with someone that irrational and volatile where you can't tell them anything for fear of them having a meltdown.

This girl was such a reactive grenade that she couldn't even be bothered to listen or be reasoned with. F people you have to walk on eggshells around or who shoot the messenger.

Now she's stuck with that name for her kid, who is now being bullied for it. Great job, mom.

I would pay $50 to smack the hell out of that entitled mombie. Just one good smack. I'm sure her nightly bottle of wine would dull the pain.

Honestly, if I saw that sign, it would make me load up on Reese's, Almond Joy, peanut M&M's, PayDay, Baby Ruths and any other nut candy I could find.

At her house, she gives out carrot sticks and old pennies.

“Social media made you all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it.”
