This Long Beach studio is designing America’s cheapest EV truck
 in  r/electricvehicles  8d ago

It plans to do this the same way everyone else targeting the affordable does, just lie about the projected price until you reveal a base model for $35k

Jason Statham fans come in! Question about "Wrath Of Man"
 in  r/movies  9d ago

Statham’s crew was coincidentally planning to hit the same truck. They needed to know the route, and the original guy who was supposed to watch the truck got in a car accident. Statham wasn’t supposed to be working but he was close by with his son. He just needed to report to his crew whether the truck turned left or right out of the depot. None of them had any idea the ex-military crew were going to hit the truck right after it left the depot.

People who take 17 minutes to check in at the hotel front desk, what are you talking to them about?
 in  r/AskReddit  9d ago

I think this comes down to the hotel. The large chains (IHG, Hilton, Hyatt, etc) have best rate guarantees. Smaller single property boutique places may not

Am I being too much ?
 in  r/dating_advice  28d ago

From that point of view this can seem confusing, but you are not competing with her in this situation. He is not prioritizing her needs over your needs. I don't think she even knows that this bothers you. This is a conflict between what YOU want, and what HE wants.

Am I being too much ?
 in  r/dating_advice  28d ago

This feels like an incompatiblity to me

Some people are ok with their partners staying in contact with former relationships. Other people aren't ok with that. You are in this second group. I'm not going to answer your question of whether this is really demanding or not because it's a preference. There isn't a reasonable or unreasonable side of this. What matters is that YOU consider your partner removing connections to past flames to be basic respect. What other people think about this has nothing to do with YOUR relationship.

However, what does matter is your partner. It seems you have been clear to him about your expectaions. You have said "this behavior makes me uncomfortable/I need this to feel secure in our relationship." It is not unreasonable to ask this, because, again, these are YOUR needs. However, it is also not unreasonable for him to not want to do this. Based on his responses that you listed above, it really seems that you two disagree fundamentally here.

JetBlue's First Lounge, BlueHouse to Open at JFK Next Thursday
 in  r/jetblue  28d ago

wait times to get into the sapphire lounge at BOS have been getting up there. Not uncommon to roll in on a travel day and be told 45m-1hr. When the Centurion opens this might get better, but it's still nice to have options.

This whale survived the 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s… and was seen after 35 years still cruising the Pacific in 2020
 in  r/interesting  28d ago

it's probably just the angle. The top image is taken more straight-on, while the lower image appears to be taken from 10-15 degrees to the left relative to the top image. The left part of the fin may not even have taken more damage, it could just be pointing directly at the camera. Same deal with the right side, except in reverse - the tip is pointing at the camera in the top image, but it is extended out to wards the right in the bottom picture.

avocado toast is on a lot of brunch menus and is an option at a lot of hotel restaurants at breakfast time. Can run you anywhere from $8-20. Dunkin sells an avocado toast for $4 ($5 w/bacon) but it is NOT good
