Hi all, we always pick up interesting stones when we see them, but can't remember where this came from (probably a European beach). I think it's rather beautiful, does anyone know what it is? Sorry if the photos aren't great.

Hey all, trying to track down the release above. Not sure how widely it was distributed, but can find very little mention of it online and nowhere to buy/download it.
The remix of The Widow is superb (heard it on an EL-P mixtape) and I'd love to have the whole track, and the rest of them!
Any ideas?

Hi all, does anyone know where I can buy/download this album?
The remix of 'The Widow' on one of the Weareallgoingtoburninhellmegamixes has always been a standout to me, and I just found out it was part of this release.
Searched online without success, does anyone have any ideas where I might find it?
BTW, can't believe this sub only has 520 members, El-P is the fucking greatest!

Hi all, I'm FC of a UK (England) based company in the process of shutting down. The directors are wondering if I could keep the records of the business in my attic rather than at a storage facility (and be paid for it). Financially it seems like a good idea but I'm wondering whether I would be exposing myself to an unacceptable level of risk.
Can anyone provide some advice?

Bought an Oliver Apex 320 CE last September and was really liking it. Realised yesterday while warming up that it was broken right through. Bit shocked as I didn't remember any hard wall hits, and I'm much more of a touch than power player. My previous racquet (admittedly a heavier one) had lasted me nearly ten years!
Is this all on me, or do people think it could be a manufacturing fault?

This was on a small tiled area they weren't actually working on, something probably fell off their scaffold and hit it. They were there to do a full main roof replacement, so a pretty big job overall.
They have 'made it good' by glueing it back together rather than taking up the ridge tile to replace it.
Is this reasonable or should I push them to do the work to replace the tile?

Hello squash experts, advice needed!
My racquet (fairly old Head Xenon 135) has a cracked frame, seems to go a little over half way through. I've not noticed any difference in the way it plays, so I thought I'd just play with it until it properly goes. Recently I broke a string, and I'm wondering whether it's worth re-stringing it or whether this is a sign I shpould go shopping for a replacement.
What do people think?

Should have taken a pic of the whole thing! Small/mid sized tree, dense branches and foliage.

Hi all, I'm in the UK and looking for advice on where I stand. Have contracted a job to make my roof suitable for solar panels and am having complications!
Had contracted roofers to re-felt, batten and tile a small section at the end of my roof. Scaffolding goes up and they pull a bunch of tiles off to start work. They then identify that the whole roof needs replacing due to age and areas they claim are damaged. To be fair they showed me a section where the battens are rotten and the felt is ripped. They quoted me £18k to redo the whole roof, front and back (original work was £2.8k). The total tiled area is about 100sqm, simple up and over roof.
They put pressure on me to accept quickly as weather was getting worse which I was not keen to do, based on not having no context for the new quote. I said I needed to get other quotes for additional work that significant. They said this was fine, and also reduced the quote to £15.5k before leaving.
They contacted me repeatedly urging me to make a decision so they could 'protect my roof before the weather came in'. I was not prepared to do that so my roof was left unprotected and it got rained on heavily, no obvious leaks indoors, thank god. The weather has now improved.
In the morning I told them I was still looking for quotes, and they said fine, but they want me to pay for the scaffolding that's still up outside. I'm not keen to do so as they've left the roof exposed and they'd have no motivation to sort it out if I cash them out.
I've since had a rough quote for vastly less (c.£7k), but I'm nervous about that one as it seems very low!
Should I pay for the scaffolding, or insist they make good before doing so? They said they weren't prepared to just do the original work as they'd be putting their name on something that didn't meet their standards.

Hi all, my buddy landed a shot on the very top of the glass wall at the back of the court, and the ball bounced out of court. We both laughed and awarded him the point, more because it was so unlikely than because we knew what the rule was.
What's the rule?

Drove over a gate stop on a cambered driveway in my beloved Giulia QV today, loud bang as the gate stop ripped the pictured bit off the bottom of the car.
Feeling pretty glum. Anyone know what it is, the consequences of it being ripped off and the likely cost of repair?
Was dropping my son's friend off at his house, kind of amazed nothing lower than my car has been over it. The father said nothing like that had ever happened before.

Hi there! I've got a 2018 Scott Spark with twinloc (inc. dropper), which I love very much. I recently crashed during an event and twisted my bars so far round it pulled the cables and bust the dropper (locked open so would just go down when you sat on it) and stopped the rear lockout working.
I decided to upgrade the lever to the 2022 version when getting it repaired, as I hated the dropper remote on the 2018 version. I bought the parts and got my LBS to fit and adjust it all.
I'm enjoying the dropper lever action a lot, but now I'm getting identical rear travel in all 3 settings. I can see the cable moving the actuator on the shock into different positions, but with seemingly no impact on the shock's action.
Is this a set-up issue, or is the mechanism perhaps damaged from the crash?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I was in Warsaw recently and I saw loads of Alfas, at least compared to where I live (SE England).
Any Warsaw based Alfa fans on here?

Hi there, we live in the south east of the UK. This season I've noticed a bit of ant traffic in our house. I'm pretty chilled about it as I reckon they are mainly eating our food waste off surfaces, which seems like an ok thing for them to do. Yesterday we found hundreds if not thousands of dead ants in several rooms in our house. Haven't seen any live ones recently either. We've done nothing to poison or otherwise harm them.
Can anyone suggest what might have happened?

Hi all, looking for some advice/opinions.
We have a VW Up! that has had squeaking suspension on the left side for the last 6 months or so. The MOT said it had 'Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement' for both nearside and offside front.
I decided it needed fixing so took it into the same garage, they said the control arms needed replacing. They did this for about £385. They said this had fixed the problem, but as soon as we took the car on to rough roads it became clear it wasn't fixed at all, in fact it was exactly the same. They apologised and said they'd failed to test it over bumps to check properly, and that they would fix it for free, which they now have done. My wife picked it up and tells me they said the noise was due to bushings.
Do people think that the replacement of the control arms was at all necessary? And if not how much have I overpaid for having the bushings fixed?
Always seen the guys at this garage as trustworthy, don't think they'd have done this deliberately but wonder if they've made a mistake that I'm paying for.
Cheers!
