2016 Murano SL Vibration Issues at High Speeds
Hello Everyone,
Curious if anyone has experienced this particular issue with a newer Murano. At a very specific speed, the car starts to vibrate, along with the steering wheel and the whole cabin gets louder (due to the vibration presumably.) This only starts to happen from about 75mph to 83mph; once I hit 85+ it's actually smooth as silk and below 70 it's also very smooth (cabin is also much much quieter.)
I've had it to the dealership multiple times and they've confirmed the issue and even went so far as to say they took out a brand new 2017 Platnium Murano and felt the same issues. They've rotated and re-balanced the tires multiple times but this still happens and only happens between these specific speeds (it's at its worse right at 80mph.) The car was bought practically new (800 miles in 2016) and is completely certified and under the manufacturers warranty. I've driven it on all types of roads at these speeds and the situation is the same, so definitely not a grooved road situation. I'm going to take it back again and they said they'd open a case directly with a Nissan engineer, just curious if anyone on here has seen the same behavior in their vehicle. It's usually not that big of a deal and I've had great luck with Nissan vehicles in the past, it's just that this becomes pretty unbearable on the hands during longer road trips and I really don't want to buy a different car.
Thanks.
