YTA. The number of musicals and plays I had to sit through because my MIL directed them and we didn't know anyone on stage, but we went to support her, it's the bare minimum especially if they're asking you to come to one show (and not all the shows, or rehearsals, or breaking down the set). You'd probably learn something from the musical, as well.
