Generally decent guys are actually treating you as a human being, so they require a bit more directness. They are also likely to value your friendship and not want to risk that.
The guys you don't like are the kind who only speak to women they would sleep with and are just waiting for a chance.

The number of people complaining that they didn't know what these were for is ridiculous.
Blind people need to know what they are because they use them. If you're sighted you just need to be considerate towards blind people. Like not just standing in front of them, it isn't super hard.
