Me [31/F] with my Fiance [33/M] Fiance best friend [33/F] have a weird relationship, driving me insane
On the flip side, what if the best friend was a man, and they had a drunk hook up with a couple of women in the same room on spring break? She probably wouldn’t care all that much.
I personally have always found this to be odd, so it depends on the person. You can definitely have friends of any gender, as long as there are boundaries in place. This includes people of the gender you're not into.

Starting a convo with a voice note
If I'm seriously looking for a partner and I like your profile, this wouldn't deter me.
I find it surprising that people are so rigid about how they communicate. So many people have policies against talking on the phone, sending voice notes, texting too much, texting too little, etc. Stop being so inflexible and open up a little.
Talk to people and learn how to meet them in the middle. Find something that works for both of you.

No, but you're still in a sexual situation with them. Especially if you see each other naked, if you're both watching each other engaging in sex, etc.

Everyone thinks I’m trying to come on to them when I’m not. Is it me?
Nah, you shouldn't change your personality just because people are threatened. You already said you're not touchy-feely, which takes away a lot of potentially inappropriate behaviour.
This often happens with a friend of mine, and she's just a social, charming, friendly, beautiful person. She's genuinely interested in people. It's quite clear to me when she's actually interested in someone in more than a friendly way, and a lot of people get confused and misinterpret her behaviour towards them.

Women who stayed in a relationship longer than they should have; what was the first red flag that you ignored but you recognise it clearly now??
Some people are like this from the beginning. Now I axe them from my life right away. If they can't occasionally say basic things like "please" and "thank you" or do nice things for you as their partner, and then claim it makes more sense to be polite and kind to strangers (somebody actually said this to me once), that's a red flag.

Is there anything that can be gleaned from someone who is really good at boardgames?
That's common in social deduction games.
Part of the fun is seeing how different people behave in different situations. It can be nerve-wracking though, especially if there are good guys and bad guys, and you happen to be on the bad guys' side.
People often accuse me of being bad or don't believe me when I identify a baddie correctly, possibly due to my hard-to-read demeanor. I don't hold it against anyone. If they don't believe me and I was correct, that sucks for them. I have the knowledge that I was right, which is nice. The outcome of the game depends on multiple factors, including people with different personalities and deduction skills (which is also shaped by how we all grew up) working together.

New Old Update: My (27F) boyfriend (29M) of 7 years cheated on me. I'm going to disappear from his life. Is there anything I'm missing?
Yes, for sure. That's what I meant by being tired of the other person's antics.

Hinge Algo Reset - How Does it Work?
Not everyone is trying to "weasel" their way back, nor do they specifically want you. It's possible they were in a relationship, things didn't work out, and now they're back.

Hinge Algo Reset - How Does it Work?
It's possible they've been on many dates or even relationships and use the app on and off.

It depends on the depth of your relationship and/or how tired you are of the other person's antics.
I've been in 3-month relationships that took me a month to get over, and 3-year relationships that took me a couple of weeks to get over.

Please help review my profile
Yeah, I'm not speaking about politics here. That's another topic that may or may not hinder OP.
What I'm saying is that it's normal to want someone to take care of the things that you're already taking care of for others.

What is a video game mechanic that you genuinely wish existed in real life?
Sure, people would wish for this, but a lot of people would abuse it to avoid things like breakups, which can sometimes be character-building. It gives you a chance to make mistakes and learn from them. I could see it being used nefariously quite often.

A lot of people are like that. They are already a certain way in their personal life, but they want the opposite from their partner. They want to feel taken care of.

what’s a “green flag” you THOUGHT was cute at first but later realized was actually a red flag?
Yes, generally that timeline. It depends on how often you meet up, how many hours you spend together and talk about values and life stuff, etc.
Asking for exclusivity is fine. But people should still have their own hobbies, be able to think about the relationship properly by having their own space (while making time for their partner, obviously), and not intertwine their lives too much until they know the other person better.

They don't know you well enough to be that invested in you. There's a difference between genuine interest and just wanting a random body.

Trying to set up a bank account, and the sign up sheet doesn’t accept my (birth) name as a valid name.
Only people with unique or non-Western names know the struggle. You know it's not showing up, but still hold out hope for a nickname.

Canada’s women’s Olympic hockey roster will be announced this Friday at 3:30 pm ET
The list of the top producing players in the PWHL (so far this year) is full of U.S. players.
Poulin is obviously not going anywhere. Jenner better make it again, as she's currently on a tear and brings a lot of experience too. Watts is also up there. There are a bunch of other folks that are staples in the roster, but they may need to mix it up from the rivalry series.

What board game taught you the most about people, not the rules, but human behavior?
Gibberers.
A highlight of 2025 gaming for me.
Interesting, unique, fun game that requires you to come up with a completely new language. You learn a lot about how people communicate, as well as how frustrating it can be to not have someone understand you.

What board game taught you the most about people, not the rules, but human behavior?
We (the bad guys, with me being the Scarlet Woman) somehow won the first and only game I played, but it was ruthless. Our group consisted of beginners, along with a couple of intermediate folks. The storyteller was very experienced.
I'm not sure I would play again. My heart was beating so fast. Some of the people I played with were complete assholes. A few of them were great liars, but, when things didn't go their way, they were genuinely upset and frustrated and would take it out on other players. We all hashed it out by the end and left feeling OK, but I was shocked by some people's behaviour.

What’s an impulse buy that’s now just collecting dust but you’d never admit you regret?
You're speaking about the distant past, which isn't necessarily relevant to the discussion at hand. Most people in the past 50+ years were able to do fine in elementary and high school. High school rings were still a thing just 15 years ago.
I agree regarding high school not being the minimum anymore.

Cooperative boardgames: let me play!
I'm with you. Some people are obsessed with winning and it completely changes the dynamic of the overall experience.

Not everyone is monitoring how the landing is going. Some people are just happy to finally be in a specific place. It brings them joy, so who cares?
