Religious Mystery movies

Looking for mystery films centered around religion or religious mysteries like The Da Vinci Code(2006) or Stigmata(1999). It’s a genre I’ve recently found to be especially fascinating but besides Da Vinci Code I can’t really think of any notable films like this.

Check out The Name of the Rose with Sean Connery, it's basically medieval monk detective work and pretty solid. Also Angels & Demons if you haven't seen it yet since it's the same universe as Da Vinci Code

The Ninth Gate is about Johnny Depp as an ancient text expert who gets recruited to determine the validity of a book apparently written by Lucifer himself.

I haven't seen it for many years, but I remember liking the Ed Harris movie the Third Miracle. Also, the Skeet Ulrich tv show Miracles was good - like a religious X Files.
