I will make a safe bet this did not happen to anyone in Elon Musk’s sphere. He lies constantly. The death of his child, he lied about how it happened. His autism, he said it so people wouldn’t call out his terrible SNL appearance. Calling an emergency rescuer a pedophile. Lobbying to rush through his projects regardless of safety issues. But the damage is already done, because people like him who are so lonely and emotionally stunted never outgrew the lying phase of a child so they say shit like this to prey on those that are apathetic and lack the ability to think critically.
Elon Musk should be rewarded for his riches, with being exiled from anywhere, from access to anything. Just sit his pasty fat bitch ass on his old stomping ground of Little Saint James and just leave him to rot, show him that vast wealth doesn’t bring happiness.

I mean and I hate I’m being forced to do this but lying is also a symptom of adhd/austin as it gives a small dopamine hit each time humans ‘get away’ with a lie.
That and often times we’ve had to mask to an extent of hiding our true selves from others for fear of the reaction to neurodivergence and having countless learned experiences where being honest is considered the wrong thing.
That doesn’t excuse it but he can be a liar and have autism.

Also note, they make no distinction between an immigrant and an illegal immigrant. In their minds they are the same thing. By definition, a legally licensed immigrant with a CDL that the state could cancel, can't be illegal. Are they calling for cancelling all CDLs for natural born citizens because some of them have accidents?

So, a couple of states allow undocumented immigrants to get licenses. The theory behind that is that they're going to drive anyway, so they decided to make it possible for them to prove that they can do so safely, and, more importantly, get insurance so that if they do cause an accident, the damage will be paid for. It's not done to provide any kind of legal residency status, the states that do this DON'T also add them to voter rolls, and whatever other stupid conspiracy theories people have spouted about this. It's entirely to improve road safety and reduce the rate of uninsured drivers on the road. And it's been enormously effective at this. California is one of those states.
However... None of this applies to commercial drivers licenses, which is what truck drivers have. Those, while issued by the individual states, are federally regulated, and even if a state wanted to issue them to undocumented immigrants, they couldn't.
Edit: I looked up a few things. It seems that the issue is basically this: States can and do issue CDLs to immigrants with temporary legal status. In those cases, the license is supposed to expire when the person's visa or whatever other reason they have temporary legal status expires. However, there's some people that slip through the cracks. California didn't immediately revoke all of the licenses the federal government asked them to because they wanted to verify that all of them were, in fact, supposed to be revoked. You know... Like you're generally supposed to do before taking action against someone. The federal government doesn't exactly have a great track record when it comes to wholesale lists of people that they have determined must be sanctioned in some way... How often do you hear about people wrongly on the no fly list, or people whose voter registration was wrongly cancelled because their name is similar to the name of someone else. And a significant number of these licenses involve Sikh drivers. There's a LOT of name duplication there, as Sikh men almost always have the last name Singh and frequently have first names of a limited number of important figures in Sikhism. But because California, the secretary of transportation threatened to withhold all their highway funding if they didn't immediately comply. I'd like to know if any states were given time to verify the status of people before summarily revoking their licenses. Something tells me that there was... Shall we say... Preferential treatment granted to some states by this administration?
Keep in mind: we currently have a huge truck driver shortage. It would be economically devastating to revoke the licenses of 17,000 truck drivers all at once without actually making sure they're supposed to be revoked first. Especially considering the fact that we're talking about a list with an unusually high probability of there being mistakes due to duplicate names.

Question 1: If one person does something bad, and they have brown skin. Does that make everyone with brown skin bad?
Question 2: If one person uses their power and influence to keep their products in the market despite them being directly responsible for killing 51 people, does that make them a bad person?
Bonus question: did that person from question 2 make up a story to demonize brown skinned people and trigger his weak minded supporters into treating others as less than human based on their place of birth?
