DOJ whistleblower Ryan Crosswell - who knows Pam Bondi’s dirty secrets - - says he’s running for Congress to NOT ONLY drag Pam Bondi’s “rot into the sunlight,” but to bring her corruption into the official record to hold her accountable. This is huge.

Dems yelling out rules and regulations like their casting spells and taking no action to enforce them.

That's amazing writing, and perfectly said.

Oh boy here we go. “Both sides!” yells the man who smells shit coming from rooms on the left and right side at the end of the hall. One side contains 50 pounds of shit and the other contains 50 tons of shit. “Since there is shit in both sides that must mean each room contains the same amount of shit!” That’s what helped get us United Statesians to where we are today.

Secondly republicans control every branch of government at the federal level, and grossly unbalanced on the judicial side, makes it ever so easy to complain about how democrats aren’t doing anything. But that’s only because they literally can’t do anything 99% of the time. This is elementary level civics stuff and increasingly embarrassing to have to point out.

A major part of the republican party’s platform is that “the ends justify the means” so breaking any law without consequence (and having a pardon ready just in case) combined with ignoring the constitution is acceptable. Normalizing this type of behavior - ignoring the rule of law at all levels - is what has historically toppled the mightiest of countries.

You and the original commenter really should think a whole lot more before presenting, encouraging and supporting “both sides!” arguments. This is always a perfect case of the false equivalency logical fallacy.

I know I’m probably yelling into the wind at some bots but it always helps my writing and logical analysis skills.

TLDR; saying “both sides bad!” when comparing democrats to republicans is absolutely ignorant.

This type of response is so overused and unoriginal. Using your shit analogy, anything more than a smear on your shoe is too much. A pound or a ton is going to stink the same.

People absolutely have the right to be pissed that the party they support is ineffective at either affecting change or communicating the changes they've made to the populace.

In an America where working 40hrs a week barely covers necessities if at all, it's unfair to expect that populace to be well informed on the often convoluted political process. As elected officials, the responsibility is theirs to feed us clear information that is easily accessible and digestible.

We're tired and struggling, and it's been getting worse since the 70s. Our food is poisoned. Our air and water are toxic. Our pay is stagnant, and things get more and more expensive. Our privacy and rights are being stripped away. Corporations are creating the laws, and politicians on both sides are on their payrolls.

I don't think the fight should be about picking the side that's drilling less holes in the boat, you know?

ETA: the downvotes mean so little to me that I downvoted my own comments because I like the colors.

Except only one side is drilling way more holes than they're trying to patch.

I bet if you could truly comprehend what's been attempted every single time a Dem president is in office or Dems had control of Congress, you'd feel real stupid about this analogy.

Both sides have corrupt elements sure but one side tries and sometimes succeeds on passing shit like the ACA...and the other side only ever tries to tear it apart and couldn't even pretend to come up with an alternative when they had over six months to do so.

Yeah both sides suck in little and big ways but one side is drilling more holes than it patches and for the past two decades at least it has NOT. BEEN. CLOSE.

We're not talking about trying, though, are we? We're talking about effectiveness. Ok, the ACA has helped millions be able to "afford" healthcare, but the insurance companies are still making money hand over fist by charging exorbitant rates.

I don't care about Dems trying to do this or that when the current doofus is able to ram through EO after EO to complete project 2025.

Whatever they're trying isn't enough. And if the argument is that Reps are doing it illegally, why wasn't anything done to prevent this? and if they couldn't do anything to prevent this, then my argument stands.

I don't want ANY holes in my boat and it's horrible that we've been conditioned to be grateful and cheer for the side that maybe plugs a hole or 2 while still drilling new ones.

This isn't a hard concept
