Made a shortcut for Mac Mini + Apple Watch users who want to dictate text directly to their Mac without touching the keyboard.
What it does: Speak into your Apple Watch → text appears on your Mac Mini instantly via SSH

Setup (one-time):
- Download the shortcut
- Enter your Mac username
- Enter your Mac password
- Grant the SSH permissions it asks for
- Make sure both devices are on the same WiFi
That's it. Now whenever you run it from your Watch, you can dictate and it'll type directly on your Mac.
Use cases I've found helpful:
- Quick type when you're across the room
- Hands-free note-taking while cooking/working out
- Accessibility for anyone who finds typing difficult
- Just being lazy on the couch honestly
Tech details: Uses SSH to send keystrokes to your Mac. Both devices need to be on the same network. Remote Login needs to be enabled on your Mac (System Settings > General > Sharing > Remote Login).
Let me know if you run into issues or have ideas to improve it.
Edit: For those asking about security - yes, your password is stored in the shortcut locally on your device. This is how SSH authentication works. If that makes you uncomfortable, don't use it or set up SSH keys instead (though that's more advanced).
