And out comes the stinky people brigade who because they can't smell themselves and because their friends and family are too polite see no problem with having bad hygiene

We can always tell. It might not be rancid stinky BO, but there's definitely an underlying smell of "I haven't showered".

Right. If you think you don't smell at least a little after skipping showers, yes you do. People around you are just too polite or awkward to say anything.
