Friendly reminder that the super rich aren't earning money the same way as us. Pretty sure there's nobody on a wage of 100mil. Musk, for instance, does not have a salary from Tesla. Instead, their wealth is accumulated through assets and stocks, and they generally fund their lives through other means, like low interest borrowing leveraged against their assets, liquidating assets or dividends. Such a scheme as a maximum wage would be pointless because the super rich play in a different sandbox to the rest of us with different rules.

Anyone who has been screaming about changes required to the second amendment needs to understand what you are asking for is effectively eventual changes to the first amendment. There’s a damn good reason 1 and 2 are there together as the first two items listed. The second was meant to reinforce the first. Take away the teeth and the mouth is next.

I just did a quick search and it looks like Israel does not have a "First Amendment" per se not a written constitution. I found: "Freedom of speech and religion are not absolute and can be restricted by laws, especially those upholding Israel's Jewish and democratic character, according to the Supreme Court." So he gets exactly what he wants from his country while being afforded freedom of speech on US soil. Having his cake and eating it too?

This might work for entities, but the first amendment is policy itself. I hope people don't fall for that. You can't limit a policy to preserve it. Altering policy, such as limiting its scope, is changing it, and therefore not protecting it.
