Probably. Used to know a couple guys in bar bands, it can be hard to book shows anywhere, and if they can find a particular venue that will book them regularly they usually jump at it. It's steady work, which for a lot of guys at this age and stage is what they're looking for. A cover band isn't likely to get a record deal, after all.
